Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Monday paid a visit to the First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, in Lagos to celebrate Eid.
The visit was confirmed by a post on X by Busola Kukoyi, media aide to the First Lady, which included a photo of Obasanjo and Oluremi Tinubu together.
This development comes on the heels of Obasanjo's recent appearance at the Afreximbank Annual meeting 2024 wearing a cap with an emblem similar to the one typically worn by President Bola Tinubu, sparking speculation about a possible shift in his political allegiance.
The Plateau state government through the Jos Metropolitan Development Board has begun the demolition and removal of illegal structures within Jos city center as part of urban renewal plans to remodel the state capital and its environs.
General Manager of the Jos Metropolitan Development Board says the objective is to ensure that the recently signed executive order by the state government is implemented to the fullest as citizens need to obey the laws of the land.
But the demolition didn't go well with some traders in Bukuru metropolis who attacked the enforcement team and burnt vehicles parked across the road.
Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has bolstered the state's security capabilities by donating 32 operational vehicles and refurbishing 11 Armoured Personnel Carriers for the state Police Command.
The donation, aimed at enhancing the police's fight against crime and criminality, was presented at a brief handover ceremony on Sunday.
Governor Uzodimma emphasized the importance of functional security equipment and facilities in police operations, reaffirming his commitment to supporting the state's security agencies in their efforts to protect lives and property.
