The Deputy Governor of Edo state, Mr Philip Shaibu should take it easy ! easy ! He stand the chance of being a governor in the future when the position is zone to Edo north. But if he disrespect today, the governor Mr Obaseki, then that will affect his chances in the future. That is what Atiku experienced under Obasanjo. So Comrade Shaibu take am EASY ! EASY ! Your loyalty to the governor can be paid back in the near future. It is not by GRA ! GRA !

You are correct. Impatience will rob Philip, future chance of becoming Edo State Governor. Impatience destroyed, Atiku, Wike etc chances of waiting to become President and presidential candidates in PDP. Philip is going the same way. He is a young man and his future is bright in Edo State. But he may lose all for impatience and over ambition.

Philip Shiabu thought that we the Edo people are gullible people but he was all wrong, that was why he decided to have us manipulated in order to gain sympathy from the Edo people for his desperate and greedy governorship ambition just the same way Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki gained in 2019 when Adam's Aliyu Oshiomole was after him on his second term ambition, so this time Desperate and greedy Philip Shiabu wanted we the Edo people to see Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki as another Adam's Aliyu Oshiomole" so he played the victim card for that, it was a well planned strategy because him Philip Shiabu knew that we the Edos hate oppression and that we do not take it from anybody" so he capitalized on that!!! He betrayed Obaseki a man that did everything to make sure he was his second term running mate for his Greed and desperation for Power, I am not a fan of Obaseki, all I want is a Greater Edo state but I hate betrayal,

I believe that Mr. Governor has done very well. He is a good man and he understands what it means to have a government that should be run with regard to established law and fairness. He is man of sound principles, rule of law, respect for the the people and helping to lift up the fine state of Edo. if you do not like the Governor, you should look at other idiot governors around the country. See the one in Lagos who is a thug and an election thief, who is using idiots to terrorize the Igbo peoples and dinning with a former governor who stole the wealth of Lagos State. Or look at the northern governors like the one in Kaduna and Katsina many others in the Northern Nigeria. They are clueless about governance etc. God bless you Governor Obaseki! Ride on sir!

What Osifo said is the simple truth. Obaseki has taken Edo State like his own property. Edo State is the worst state in Nigeria, Edo people we be the happiest when Obaseki move out. Their is no single improvement in Edo State since Obaseki became a Governor. Obaseki have frustrated Edo people, claiming people properties destroying people buildings for no judgtice, Imposed wrong laws to Edo people.

If na only the state of the roads you take assess Mr. Obaseki, then you have not gotten the full picture of how far Edo has progressed. Check out every stats about the 36 States in Nigeria in the areas of electricity, education, healthcare, revenue, governance ...etc, Edo State consistently comes under the best 10 States in Nigeria. In many cases Edo State is among the top six. As for the roads, Edo state revenue is not enough to fix the roads.

Oshiomhole is an Angel where Obaseki is. It is only Tyrant that will prevent someone from visiting his state. Its Tyrant that will supervise the desecration of the house of Assembly and relocate a handful of them to government house. Its tyrant that will close down a school and refuse to pay the workers their entitlements even after they have court judgement against them. The list is endless!

It is ok if you do not like the Governor or his policies for Edo State. But to compare him with Mr. Oshiomhole is just laughable. The difference between Mr. Obaseki and Oshiomhole is crystal clear. Both governors have done some good for the Edo state, however Mr. Obaseki achievement in Edo and the many good things he has done for Edo people dwarf anything that any other governor has done in Edo State.
