OBITO DESERVES THE HATE 

This video is a very simplistic view on a character that's a little more complex. I agree that it is quite the jump for Obito to do what he did we must remember a few key factors. One is that Obito as we've seen had very few friends. Your video gives this idea that the leaf village not hating Obito suddenly means he was treated well when we don't know his relationships outside his team. What we are shown is nobody really payed attention to him outside Rin (At the time his only friend) of course Obito would grow attached to the one girl that was nice to him and gave him encouragement. Two Obiyo was a child soldier and has seen the worst of the world. He's seen things a thirteen year old shouldn't see and died as a result of it. Three Madara was probably attempting brainwashing. Remember Obito was trapped with Madara and the white zetsu for around a year-ish. Madara would definitely try manipulating Obito and to Obito this wouldn't matter but obviously he listened but didn't care at the time. Four Kakashi killed Rin. This is the turning point. A straw that finally broke the back of the camel. Obito had witnessed his friend kill his other friend while the man who was specifically tasked with protecting them failed for a second time. (More on Minato in a sec.) That would hurt anyone but Obito was specifically training to better protect his allies and healing as best he could to see them again. Five Minato is a failure. That's supposed to be his flaw. He is the fastest shinobi and can seemingly do anything. But he couldn't protect two children when they needed him most. Rin and Obito. Obito obviously felt rage for his master's failure to protect him so he obviously wants revenge as he was a teenager and definitely emotionally unstable. A teenager would do rash things like" let's destroy the village because it contributed in Rin's death. And we know he was developing an ego and more cocky personality to fit his role as Madara a role he was given by the man himself because Obito no longer cared about who he was. All that muttered was the eye of the moon plan. I understand not liking Obito. I like Obito but he's a bit wasted in potential in my eyes there could have been more done and the line of Naruto saying he was "the coolest guy" sucked. But his motivation wasn't exactly the most unrealistic or none sensical thing to happen. Nor his later life actions as people say he talks about Rin a lot but he only ever does this with Kakashi and Minato two people who knew her. Also sorry this comment went tmso long I expected it to be shorter myself

I Agree With You! Obito's character motives & actions are all over the place or go for the Extreme just for Rin's death to be a Leechpin. Making him a True Spiteful Betrayer mudies his character to where he deserves no sympathy even with his "Redemption" , which doesn't come close towards being forgiven for his crimes: Assassination of the Hokage's family members; the 9-tails Attack; Brainwashing 4th Mizukage Yagura to commit genocide on bloodline users sparking a Civil War in the Mist; hijacking the Akatsuki to become Terrorist; the collapse of Rain; his Betrayal of the Leaf & Kushina's Family; & the 4th Great Shinobi War!

ok before i get into the main part of my counter rant, good production quality and nice energy in the video i enjoyed watching it. couple of things you seem to be forgetting about or not understanding about obito's backstory that are rather relevent. I'm not gonna convince you too like Obito but his actions and motivations make plenty of sense. obito is an uchiha during this time the relationship between the uchiha and the rest of the village wasn't great not as bad as after obito's attack but there is a notable divide between uchiha's and the rest of the village, aside from being an orphan the rest of the uchiha think obito's a failure and want nothing to do with him. team minato and kushina are very litterally his only positive relationships in his life. Obito is a child soldier in a war obito has killed and seen people die since he was young even in naruto where people are trained to be shinobi seing ppl die at a young age affects ppl, naruto's ninja way was large because of the events of the land of waves arc, kakashi, the sannin, madara and hashirama are all characters who growing up in war time is noted to of shaped there world view this applies to obito aswell. so obito's life outside of team minato isn't great, Minato just before obito's final mission gives kakashi a kunai that minato can teleport to in and says if there ever in trouble he'll come save them using that. obito's final mission happens and then he wakes up with madara in a new magled body. Obito then spends months in a cave with no one but madara talking to him about how horrible the shinobi world is and how his friends have already moved on from him and how great the eye of the moon plan is. also zetsu who say the same sort of stuff. he leaves and the first thing he sees is kakashi murdering rin, once again minato is no where to be seen. this destroys every positive relationship Obito has left. Kakashi swore to obito while obito died that he'd protect rin, Minato promised to protect all of them and failed both times he was needed, rin is dead a victim of the other too failing to keep there promises and kushina is minato's wife and his resentment towards him would naturally extend to her to a degree. Obito has litterally nothing left in life and then immediately after more people who are also responsible for rins death try to kill him while he is processing all of this. then he goes back to madara who just fans the flames of Obito's messed up emotional state to steer him towards the eye of the moon plan gives him the justification that any and all actions he takes wont matter once the eye of the moon plan is enacted and gives him the means and knowledge to enact the plan. so its either that or go back to a village that has betrayed him and doesn't care about him. Obito is like 12 or 13 by the way when this happens he is a child through all of this. Obito doesn't pick the eye of the moon plan inspite of having to kill minato, kushina and there child he hates minato and blames him for everything that happened because he shouldn't of let any of it happen. Obito is a manchild so is madara so is pain and so is hashirama. Because the shinobi world sucks and breeds people who resent the world because it screwed them over. which is why sasuke, pain, madara and naruto all want to fundamentally change it.

Well you forgetting Obito hated Minato if you read his dialogue in the fourth great ninja war Minato was fast but was always late when it mattered and when he fought Obito he deciphered everything but Obitos identity so Obito in return didn't care about the ones minato loved And Kakashi himself broke his promise and killed her with his own hands And Obito saw that Minato was late again

It makes sense. However, I believe that is the purpose of his character. He was doomed the moment he met Madara. Obito was supposed to die and no matter what happened, madara was not going to let obito back out. If it wasn’t for rin, it would’ve been kakashi as well. But you are correct as well, just rin dying and something in the way he starts acting takes away the rest of his cause for changing.

Yeah the things Obito did are worse BUT Obito do make sense not just subjectively but also Objectively. Your main point was that villagers where nice to him not like Naruto so here you go(this was at last so tone is like that): You are making as if the villagers are saint. Remember the last thing he remembers about them is what they did to White Fang. don't manipulate facts, the scene that happened where when he was a Good Kid that why He help other like Elderly. Did you forget that? why? how many time you need watch/read just to know that? about Rin: 1. You are only showing 1 tree from the whole Forest that Obito show. Rin was 100th degree The boiling point but there are other 99 degree that make him reach his boiling point. 2. He is a child soldier he has seen the worse the cruelty of Shinobi world. He have heard the stories of White Fang, and the consequences of that on Kakashi's live. 3. Yeah Kushina was very nice to him but Obito didn't catch onto that, Minato wasn't just a team leader for him for the most part and kakashi was just a rule book. Rin was his only salvation. 4. Obito didn't just show Rin's death and said Let's destroy everything. He was going through that phase from "Losing" his life in war as a child where no Adult was to save him to reliving that moment again Where his 1 close friend ki11ed other by his own hand again no Adult, having Madara's words in his mind. 5. What Rin died for? the f**king Shinobi world this accursed world. Does no body mean anything? Why that even matter if at the end of the day they gonna die for this cursed Shinobi world. Didn't you listen what Obito said when he ki11ed Neji? The reason was to create a New Better World and yeah he will make sacrifices for that, didn't you listen what he says(internal monologue) when he show Nagato incident. that he will make all of them alive in his dream world. That's how he justifices his actions. which makes sense
