I love how the reuse of the Free4Me lyrics in the Obituary section turn them from upbeat and jovial to scary and foreboding. Turns what was welcoming into what is threatening and I think that fits so perfectly

I just love the difference in tone the beginning lines of both the Free4Me section and the 2nd part of Obituary has. Like the beginning lyrics starting with “I only need you to run with me today” sounds so hopeful while it sounds so menacingly in the 2nd part of Obituary. Also I apologize if this doesn’t make sense to you all, I’m not the best at explaining things 😅.

I LOVE THIS! As much as I liked the original .Exe’s part sounded pretty decent and after phase 2 it just sounded kind of off. Giving Exe an actual chromatic other then empty dull noises and adding really good action packed segments.. THIS IS AMAZING! You never disappoint man! Great work!✨🔥

God FREE4ME was absolutely beautiful, kudos to the singer their voice was heavenly I'll admit, i wasn't too fond of the chroms at first but when it got to the halfway point of the first half of Obituary it really started picking up But god DAMN the second half?! I don't know if this was intentional, but I love the "welcome to my world" line since it could be 2 different things. One the obvious greeting boyfriend into his domain which he has control over. But it could also reference how Sonic.exe being a computer program, and how most programmers often code a line of text that says "hello world" to see if the program is working. Niffirg, you have a really great talent with your songs and I really enjoy them, but almost all of them so far (Specifically the sections you composed yourself) basically fall into sad, emotional tunes at some point or another, which sort of makes these kind of same-y listening to them in sequence. Try and explore other types of melody that sound less "good" (Or more specifically, emotionally impactful), but fit the atmosphere, like the extra singing section here, I very much enjoyed it! Keep cooking man, you're doing great!

3:54 I love that you included lyrics here. But a small criticism, the singing doesn’t have much variation to it at the end of each verse. It always the same long note. Making it sound off. Aside from that, I do consider this a really good song. And it does improve some aspects of the original. Like the 3rd act with all of the fire.
