I love how Pico sounds gradually more annoyed in this retake... like... he isn't afraid, and the adrenaline is NOT pumping for him, he's just overall inconvenienced by the fact that he's not only running for his life in song form but even after the song he's gonna have to find away out of the cartridge... there go his plans for the day

THIS is the definitive version of the song holy crap, this fixes all the problems I had with the original. The blend of Pico’s unpitched & pitched vocals are SO GOOD. Fantastic job you two! Edit: I'm still quite a fan of the original, don't get me wrong; I just believe this version fully realizes that song's potential

As other people say, this is Overdue but at its FULL potential!!!!! Pico's atonal voice is not only used correctly but this Retake also includes a chromatic for him made by Rix, in my opinion, the best person for this! And, surprisingly, this is the first time I listen to an FNF character who is constantly panning from one ear to another, it is a very good touch for the running section!! AMAZING REMIX

As someone who typically likes Pico Songs in FNF Mods. I have NEVER heard such a variety of notes this man could actually hit. Both high and low I'm so used to it just defaulting to his rapid rapping style. I hope this range of vocals becomes the norm for new Pico Tracks.

It’s very rare for me to like a remix more than the original song, but this is an exception. I still love the original, but I think this one just fits the vibe of Mr. L better. A lurking presence, but still a goofster at heart. (Also, the part where THE FORGIVEN appears has always been my favorite part, and it’s honestly even better here.)

you fixed literally every single issue i had with this song, it feels like overdue realized to its absolute fullest potential it’s actually fucking incredible oh mah gaaaaaawd thank you for your services 🙏 EDIT: i do not want to sound like im unreasonably bashing on the official overdue so i am going to expand on my thoughts. i feel like an issue i had with the official overdue is that it kind of just, loses its uniqueness after the opening? does that make sense? like the opening is SUPER fucking good and that intro on its own is easily an s tier song for me so for it to drop that motif after in favour of an intense heavy song was a major let down, especially considering a lot of the previous songs i had played already had that motif, i suppose my opinions weren't exactly in overdue's favour given i'd been getting tired of the songs sounding similar before making my way to it. i also want to bring up pico's vocals too. i really like that pico got a song in the mod, it was super exciting and i love pico songs, but it felt like pico's vocals were not being utilized to their fullest in the official overdue. pico's vocals need a rhythm to them, if that makes sense. but pico's vocals in overdue feel very random and strung together. this song has a really nice rhythm to them that feels deliberate and i appreciate that. really good stuff and i am glad a passion for this song ended up making such a fuckin BANGER. big fan

Honestly, the official Overdue is better than I initially gave it credit for, but this version STILL manages to blow it out of the water! I especially love how Pico is handled here. The official Overdue uses the lame method of just having untuned Pico repeat the opponent's rhythmic motifs, but this version handles him in the best way I could possibly think of: using tuned and untuned Pico in tandem AND having untuned Pico just do own thing without a discernable melody to detach the rhythm from. The icing on the cake is that this is probably the best tuned Pico soundfont I've heard, and while I can understand why you won't give out the soundfonts, it still low-key sucks bc I would love to get my hands on Pico's specifically...
