Obj.263 Vs Obj.268 World of Tanks Blitz
I always get asked which nations top of the tree TD/Heavy/Medium tank should I get at tier X. Its something people start aiming at a long long way before hand and rather than just say I prefer X/Y/Z I decided to create a series of videos that highlight the differences and similarities of the two vehicles.
We start today with the top of the Russian tech tree's TD duo. The 263 & the 268.

Obj 263 definitely requires a more skilled driver to be successful, but is loads more fun when you figure it out. It's called the yolo wagon for a reason!

I got absolutely ruined by the 263 the first time i rushed it. I thought "Well, it has to have no armour because its slow, right?" I shot its upper plate, and got demolished. Same thing for the Foch 155. Didnt think it could do 1280 avg clip damage with AP

I'd rather pick the Object 263, because of MAD Damage/minute, solid armour, mobile enough, and you can be on the frontline with it. One mans opinion :)

263's crazy mobility enables it to wiggle and jiggle, making it very difficult for enemies up close to take a shot into ur mantlet(thats how I get bounces from 183). Very nice vid bushka cheers👍

Something people don’t know about the 263, is that the trackwheels are really really weak. You can pen it quite easily

After I finish up the E4 line, I think I’ll get the263 next. I love the 268, but I love playing frontline with my TDs, and that DPM would be fun.

I love them both and do very well in them, but you should do a video between the Grille and Jg. A lot of people ask in-game and I just get furious when someone answers them incorrectly

Bushka… you need to organize your videos into playlists and have a big checklist of tanks you need to cover etc. if you haven't already. The video uploads are really haphazard usually and I think some scheduling/consistency with the videos would make a really good difference

@@zenmhmd3204 But newer players will vastly prefer the IS-7 cause of two reasons: 1. Better alpha, and APCR premium instead of HEAT. (though RoF is lower) 2. Easier to use armour profile which does not need much angling, but only a bit of dancing the tank. The IS-4 needs just a bit more angling, as Bushka demonstrated through various videos, which also maked the IS-4 the better sidescraper. I personally think that both are absurdly good tanks at tier 10 (they are russian after all), and each has its own merits and demerits.

@@mayankanand6733 i kinda agree, but they will prefer thd better gun handling the is4 has and more hp, but either way i'd destroy both with my e100 :p sometimes i prey on is7 players with my e75, u know 25k battles and 64% gives u lots of experience :D

Bushka they need to nerf the gun mantlet on 263! they shoot you with Pramo and pen! light tnks and mediums shouldn't be able to pen you there

honestly prefer the 268 over 263 cu it's more flexible. The 268 and the 263 both are very good tanks, but the 263 specializes in front lining and just shredding. The 268 can do that. But, it peekabooms more effectively. The 268 has more gun depression, allowing it to pull off better shots. It has many stats that makes the 268 versatile, and the 263 really, is a one or two job tank, while the 268 is an any job tank. This is why I would prefer the 268 more, because it can adapt and be more flexible and versatile, much more effectively compared to the 263.

Obj.268 Since I do alot more damage & can deal 1 hit 1k+ Dmg to a Obj.263 & if you're facing hugging it just use HEAT.

ST-1 is a true heavy, and arguably the best tier 9 heavy. IS-8 drives more like a medium than a heavy. In other words, depends on your play style.

M103 or IS-8? I prefer the M103 just because of that sweet sweet gun depression and the arguably superior hull armor. But the IS-8 has got it in the gun in my opinion, that alpha, penetration and dpm is so sweet, they‘re both my favorite tanks at tier IX. Well, after the T54 at least ;)

GeorgeAR_RD If you compare them tier-for-tier, yes. The vertical angle on the pike nose of the IS-3 is way less aggressive than the vertical angle on the pike nose of the IS-8, which means it‘s a lot more safe to maneuver around corners because less hull is sticking around the corner. But the pike nose of the IS-3 only really provides sufficient protection against 175mm of penetration, whilst the IS-8 pike nose provides around about 200mm of protection, but it has a bigger lower glacis. Both tanks have great turrets, but the IS-8‘s is smaller. The IS-3 can face-hug enemy tanks whilst the IS-8 is too tall for that. And the armor profile on the IS-3 is way more rewarding while side-scraping, the IS-8 exposes too much of the pike nose to do that effectively. The IS-3 and the IS-8 are wildly different tanks, while the IS-3 is a solid heavy tank that can keep up with the team and advance the front lines, the IS-8 is a proper heavium, keeping up with medium tanks, advancing onto key positions and absolutely devouring enemy medium tanks with the simply op gun the thing has. You shouldn‘t view the IS-8 as a heavy tank, but as a medium tank.

The t62a loses one degree of gun depression for gun handling that rivals the best german guns and insane turret armor. The obj has one more degree of gun depression which is actually a lot considering it's 20% more than the 62a but the gun handling is worse (but still very good) and your turret gets penned all the time. It's faster though and is more finesse than the 62a. The t62a is more noob friendly but the 140 is better if you know what you're doing, so I recommend the 62a if you have 55wr or lower on t54 and 140 if you have higher than 55wr on t54.
