Yeah until she went on live broadcast after the trial and still trying the make the narrative that the trial was a loss for woman kind believable She failed
To anyone who hasn't seen the trial, minus Elain's innermost thoughts, this is exactly what happened. Those OBJECTIONS came out like Daigo parries. This eventually leads to Elaine saying to the judge "I said what if anything" and the judge responds "What if any isn't a cure all". Later on Elaine ask another "what if any" question then tells the judge it does cure all. LOL Yes, she tries to correct the Judge on how a "what if any" question works
One of the few rare instances where the Defense and Prosecution were in tandem of scolding the witness. Heard was going for a sob story, but she forgets that she's not in front of the media and that's not gonna work on the court of law.
This made me realize that legally hearsay is difficult to get around. Trying to avoid it IRL when talking would be a nightmare. I try to tell the truth as I know it and saying that "xyz thing was told to me by person A" is how I'd explain my reasoning.
That's exactly why hearsay exists. Because "the truth as YOU know it" isn't necessarily the truth. Because your truth is based on... *Hearsay* and thus 2nd hand information. 2nd hand information could have altered lies/misinformation/memory gaps from the person who first said it. So in essence. It just means that you don't know anything in court because you're a second hand witness.
An iconic moment right here from Camille lol, truly can't wait to see her amazing cross examinations with Amber Turd soon, don't stop with this series.
Finally, a part of the 20+ objections segment is here. Love everything. Camille's continuous objections. Amber/Elaine mentally struck by incessant objections/Amber's stupidity. The knife stabbing/struck sound effects Elaine Malding 😂 It is chef's kiss. ❤
the fact a circusy song play when she was giving her "sad sob story" is very fitting, you should of slowly faded in some clown make up, nose and wig on her at the last few seconds lol
I love how she is crying very dramatically, but as soon as there is any objection, she goes back to her serious pose like she was feeling nothing at all (you can see if you put the slowest speed setting right before the objection). (At 1:10)
2:50 , loved this part since it perfectly encapsulates how Elaine KNEW she was screwed, but had to do her job anyway, trying to find something, ANYTHING she could use to win an unwinnable case!
Elaine: "what was she talking about, anyway?" Lmaooooo. I love the quick cuts between her very rapidly just saying all these "I wanted to do X" things hahaha
And we still got to get to the part where Carmile destroys the living f out of Amber. Can't wait to see the 2nd Cross Over with that atomic bomb of an evidence that killed her and her witnesses in one stroke (the photo of her and her witnesses/friends all together outside on the day of receiving the order on 17th May 2016). Gonna be gold!
I still remember this from the live "show". Pure revenge gold for all the time JD got the "objection hearsay" treatment. "I guess they were hearsay papers" - JD
loool monent with hitting the table just cured the migraine I've been battling all morning hahaha this series is just legendary! i love everything about it and i hope you'll continue because this drama is full of hilarious turds and stuff ^^
Amber: "So she was texting about.." *objection* Elaine: "you cant talk about the content of the texting" Amber: "So we were texting about" *objection" Elaine: "PLEASE ANSWER WITHOUT TALKING ABOUT THE CONTENTS OF THE TEXTING" Amber: "Okay, sorry. So anyway later we tex-" *OBJECTION* Elaine: WHY (┛ಠ_ಠ)┛彡┻━┻ ARE (┛ಠ_ಠ)┛彡┻━┻ YOU (┛ಠ_ಠ)┛彡┻━┻ LIKE (┛ಠ_ಠ)┛彡┻━┻ THIS (┛ಠ_ಠ)┛彡┻━┻
If elaine didn't make a right DONKEY of herself on nationally broadcasted daytime interviews, I'd actually feel some sympathy for what she's going through.
One suggestion... you never know when you will run out of steam-- so I'd make the last episode ahead of time. That way your series has a proper ending instead of just cutting off. It's great work and I watch them all.
Is it bad i feel slightly bad for Amber head's lawyer in this case? They're just here to do their job and here comes Amber heard one of the most awful clients not only for what kind of person she is but also for how difficult it is to defend her because of her behavior in court
