I'm now convinced everyone in this discord purposely talks like they're on trial for something just on the off chance one of their conversations gets adapted into this series.
@@huehuehueheuhuehuehuehuehu6367 just searched it up apparently there’s a recipe for brocolli ice cream that contains, Two mediumly frozen sliced bananas One cup of mediumly frozen chopped broccolis Four ounces or around 115 grams of cold milk (the milk can be of your choice) One tablespoon of dry Cocoa powder One cup of frozen cherries (or berries of your choice) Almond or cashew nuts (keep caution if you are allergic, avoid the nuts in that case) One tablespoon of liquid vanilla essence Powdered sugar according to taste, we recommend one tablespoon
While swallowing gum, in rare cases, can block your digestive tract, if you only do it once or twice there will likely be no lasting harm. However, brands like Hubba Bubba and juicy fruit have a lot of sugar, which may impact ones oral health, and possibly other health in a negative way. You can also choke on gum, which is much harder to get out and can’t be easily gotten out via Heimlich maneuver. Never chew it on an empty stomach either. Overall: swallowing gum, while dangerous, isn’t likely to be very harmful if done in small quantities, though I wouldn’t go out of my way to swallow it.
9:19 - OBJECTION! That takes a large quantity, and thus risk of it varies by a person's gum intake and age! Problems from swallowing gum mostly occur in children, due to their smaller size and therefore smaller digestive tract! Most cases I saw cited were of children 5 years of age or younger, the only adult case I saw required swallowing 5 pieces of gum, every day, for several years! 11:39 - Objection! It's pretty much impossible to get a caffeine overdose from coffee alone. The concentration is far too low, and while you're busy drinking gallons of coffee, your body is hard at work getting that caffeine *out*.
Yeah, I was just gonna say that "well, this can said to most consumable products. It just takes a limit and puff you're died. Examples of these are medicine, and food"
@@foaarmedforces4175 OBJECTION! Swallowing gum fails to be seen as disgusting as by logic, if you're putting it in your mouth how different is simply swallowing it?
I love how the statements for swallowing gum is wrong is simply because their parents told them it would be stuck in their digestive system for 7 years
10:00 Nick should’ve said “And with that logic applied to your daily life. Eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner would also be gross. The process of eating involves chewing the food into small portions small enough for your throat to handle, and then swallowing. In conclusion, Chewing = Eating.”
OBJECTION! Chewing gum is literally MADE to be CHEWED. You can't break it down. Normal food is MADE to be chewed, swallowed, digested and turned into nutrients! So that's a bad comparison, in my opinion. (tho I don't think swallowing gum is nasty, I just think its weird)
Fun fact: gum stays in your stomach for two days and then it comes back like how you chewed it since you can't digest it! Edit:ook I say the rest of the vid edit 2: damn wtf how did this get popular?????
there's this super good gum that i can't find the brand of, but it's in a nearby canadian tire and it starts out as a hard candy but melts into a very chewy and satisfying gum, you can really taste the mint in it too, yet it is filled with flavouring and it is the best gum i've ever had only problem is it's a dollar per, for a tablet 1.5 cm in diameter
Objection! The difference between chewing and eating is the swallowing part. Also what's "too much gum"? Name an exact number of gums a human would have to swallow to be potentially fatal. Even if it was the case like Nick said, the gum takes a few days to be digested being eliminated completely with bowel evacuation. In other words it would be impossible for a human under normal circumstances to swallow so many gums to the point of unintentionally having a serious problem.
Objection! You overestimate the sensibilities of children and a minority of adults that you would assume to not overfill their mouths with gum in an attempt to make the largest bubble they can blow, or even just in a ridiculous attempt to extend the flavor for as long as they can just barely maneuver it around their mouth and chew. For example; myself...
I remember hearing that the gum blockage thing is a myth and instead you shit it out, might be able to block pipes though because it is never digested.
Disappointed that 5 Gum wasn't even mentioned. Also, arguing that swallowing gum when the flavour goes away is wrong because gum is meant to be chewed and not swallowed is no different than arguing that you shouldn't throw something away when it stops working or is used up. The only difference being that the former doesn't involve the need to create massive disgusting landfills.
I, a man with 12 minutes to spare, have decided to watch a Phoenix Wright video of people arguing about gum and the safety of swallowing it. I have officially lost it.
Did she just claim juicy fruit has the longest flavour? Must be some other juicy fruit cause I can’t get the flavour to last more than ten seconds whenever I get it
i once got small chunks of ice and just wrap alot of gum on it so i would turn it into stone but not only that chewing it was hell and also cold but for some reason the flavoring of the gum *juicy fruit in this case* would just come back even when it disappeared
When i was a kid, 5-7 years, the first time i tried the chewing gum i ended up swallowing it Nothing happened because of that, but i've never tried it again in my life
