Interesting how Miney is like the only person in the room whos pretty tolerant and accepting of all pizza toppings. (Anchovies dont count of course, as they are not pizza toppings.)
Pineapple is a topping that is best served on cold pizza. Once the spice of the warm marinara has settled, it becomes sweet and it fits perfectly with the acidity and sourness of pineapple. It is, in my opinion, the best topping for cold pizza. My feelings on warm pizza with pineapple is that it is not right. It fits as well as pork and ice cream. The most you can argue is that there is something about it that might work, like savory and sweet, but too much that doesn’t.
I'm stating for the record that these are my opinions, and are generally not to be taken as fact. I recommend anything I say with certainty beyond preference that you do your own research, and come to your own conclusions. I happen to like pineapple on occasion. Mostly the contrast of sweet and salt between the pineapple and tomato sauce (if that is the sauce used) and any meats used, mostly low fat pepperoni. I also happen to like mushrooms, and I view them as I view things like rice and noodles: filling, healthy food that is accentuated by the inclusion of other ingredients, as they are bland on their own. Sausage can stand in for pepperoni, or be paired with it and ham (I don't usually do Hawaiian, depending on the thickness of ham slices), and for one reason or another I'm not a fan of chicken on pizza. Not barbecue or anything. It's just odd. Bacon's a bit much, but it's cool. Hamburger isn't much different from sausage, though I guess it depends on the concentration and dispersion. Hot stuff like pepper and jalapeno I usually balance out with something like mushroom, for its flavor absorbent properties, and it tends to counteract any acid burn I would usually sustain from a hot stuff only slice. I get to enjoy the flavor without suffering stomach cramps or vurps. Olives are classy, and I'll take them if they're already on a slice, I just don't go out of my way to ask for them. Not against them. Anchovies? Nah. Only way I see fish making it onto a pizza is something bigger than an anchovy, and probably pre-sliced and prepared, and I'm not ready to try that. Maybe crab or something. And was the earthquake to prevent her from saying "dessert"? Because I've not heard of dessert pizzas. That... just sounds odd.
Loved the video! My favorite pizza would be pepperoni, bells peppers and onions all together. (Basically, a supreme pizza). Also missed opportunity, you should have made Edgeworth crawl into a ball. Dude's super afraid of them, considering the trauma regarding the DL-6 incident.
i just kinda like pineapple on pizza, when im having a bad day on good days, i like ham and jalapeños for some reason :) i like spicy so some siracha on top kinda does well *asian family*
To be honest, outside of a handful of dishes, I'm not one for mushrooms. I've had only a few of the others, at that. One thing I'm surprised I haven't seen is broccoli.
Ho says pinapple in pizza is bad: the media Ho lies the most: the media Result:pinapple on pizza problaby isn't that bad, a LOT of people actually like it!
Question : Does Cheese count as a topping ? Not like, blue cheese, mozarella, ect... Just the usual cheese you find on your usual pizza. Does it count ?
ok but cheese has to be the best topping it’s simple and good and anyone who eats actual pizza can eat cheese cuz pizza ain’t pizza without cheese it’s the most important topping aside from tomato sauce
Anchovies aren't bad... Like, if you can eat kippers, clams, oysters, calimari, octopus, scallops, and sardines you can eat anchovies easy... Just make the pizza with some white sauce, throw the cheese down, add your sea food, garlic, some onions, or as that one guy suggested: lemon slices, and serve up! Yall just cowards!
I’d be the devil’s advocate and say that at least, Pineapple pizza is edible, unlike watermelon pizza (replace the dough with a watermelon slice, found that on tiktok)
OBJECTION what about cheese and sauce apparently if a pizza doesn’t have that it’s just crispy dough with toppings not a pizza name a pizza without cheese or sauce
I'm one of the very few people in my family that eats anchovy pizza. My mom and brother hates it so goddamn much that I'm forced to eat it outside. And if they can still smell it, I'll be sitting on the sidewalk. ;-;
The problem with pineapple on pizza is that it conflicts with the tomato sauce and often the other toppings too. The solution? Use a cream-based sauce instead of a tomato sauce. I'm telling you it WILL taste at least good. If you pair it with bacon and ham and use mozzarella instead of cheddar, it will taste great. Seriously. Thing is people often think pizzas can only have tomato sauce, no substitutes, which is just wrong.
