I've viewed several videos that speak about the gun. The guns fires at the same time for everyone in the race. Oblique won the race fair and square. I wish him well in Paris.
@brobro6783 And that's why all these other coaches and athletes study the late Great Florence Griffith-Joyner's sprinting mechanics and practicing how to implement relaxation. Don't hate... appreciate. She single handedly has the most influence on the science of sprinting mechanics than any other athlete. But I wouldn't expect you to know that. 😎
You kind of got what happened but the reality of it was oblique wanted to look at Noah when he crossed the line to Jamaican move. They pretty much do it everywhere but they do it for different reasons. So when he got 11 M out he came off of the gas and cruised in and he turned around again. And no it's starting to come up. It's what he wanted. He wanted him to come up next then to show him the look on his face when he crossed this line. That's all one Sprint to ham hams out on the other sprinter
Interesting that no mention was made of Lane one that reacted very fast. And still didn’t win. So it’s about putting a good race together. Noah reacted late and want to blame everybody else.
Noel Just Can't believe that the Jamaican beat him, NOEL Is in a State Of SHOCK. Why can he Just Congratulate Oblique and Move on?. Noel Just Full of Himself
Great detailed information broke down. However, am sure this drawn attention to the Americans who will study closely how to run against Seville. Because he becomes a threat. Sevilleeas now put some competition into the 100m making it exciting. Yah
Bro, being at 9.82 already and knowing how Jamaicans train to peak later is simply insane. Seville ran the race of his life here, and I’m sure he’s just gonna get even faster. I loved how low Seville stayed in his drive and all that forward motion. The relaxation was also amazing, and I can totally see him running 9.7 this year. Sadly for him, however, is he showed too much of his hand to Noah, because Noah is now going to go fix this weakness before the trails. I’m very much impressed with how both of these guys performed.
Notting wasn't wrong with no starter. Noha just wants to cry cry like a baby because He got beaten... They are 8 lanes. 8 guys, non of those 7 guys have no problem. Only Noha comes out with is yapping yapping self...
I was disgusted. Not at Seville but at Noah. Come on dude, you lost one race. You have to act like a sore loser? I'm totally rooting against this dude. I hate people like that.
I don't think it's good form to complain about the starter's gun when the person who's just beaten you has also beaten your PB. That said, Noah's OK, he just leans hard into hype.
Noah being Noah. In his mind, he is the fastest sprinter that has ever lived, so he cannot wrap his head around losing, even though he loses every now and then.
Congrats to Serville in his own country and the gun incident was already discussed and commented and I saw it and it was fierce contenders in that race but it was not 🚭🚫 the Olympics!!! Serville has the same coach as Usain Bolt's coach and I believe that the coach might be an international coach but don't quote me because of Great Britain's sprinter who won next to Noah Lyles: Serville's time was impressive and World Leading for 2024 (9.82), but Noah said that he had difficulty hearing the gun as well as others, but he said that it was a good race: and he clocked in the second time of 9.85 and that is important too when this year, his time was 10.01 so Noah had improved and Noah would be competing in NYC this Sunday so we would be witnessing his time after crossing the finished line: his goal is punching his ticket to Paris for the Olympics because that race would be FIERCE: and Serville has to compete in Jamaican Nationals to punch his ticket to Paris for the Olympics even though he has the World 🌎🌍 Leading time and that race is going to be FIERCE too because the maximum for the Olympics is THREE, not 🚭🚫 LIKE WOULDS!!! Thanks for sharing though!!!
No he’s not a quick starter he’s not known for that he has a good top end speed his turn over is just on a different level that’s why mills pick him only if his body can hold up to the training he will be dangerous
@dettanation537 yeah if you watched last time they raced Oblique start was not as quick. Seems like he's working on his start and strength to maintain drive.
What you mean by maintaining he has great top speed. Nobody was getting close except for Lyles. I believe he kind of coasted a bit but you have to remember Lyles is known for his top end speed.
@dettanation537 oblique is definitely a quick starter. Has been all thru his high school days and since he transition to pro levels. His issues have always been maintaining his top end speed or put it simple speed endurance. This season he his doing more 200 to fix that. Matter a fact opened his international season with a 200 pb. Providing he stats injury fee, he should go 9.7s at the Olympics (if conditions are right). That run on Saturday was with a little niggle so there is definitely more to come
Too much about this now. Oblique Seville is not a big deal. He won one little race in a minor competition and everyone is going crazy. It’s not that big a deal. When he gets a goal medal at the Olympics, then I will believe that he deserves the hype.
