Looks like it could work better on the XL MT LOSI since the XL MT has to push bigger wheels. Looks like HP is just right for it! Will it fit direct in the XL MT ?
dude im so jealous!! i would spend two months of rent money on this engine if i had to, just to pay for a way to mount this in my DBXL!.. sweet ride this thing gets down!!! very impressive and it looks like a lot fun!!!
+Keith Ryan So far they've been doing really well and selling quicker then we can build them. The first batch of 10 will be shipped out by the end of today so I'm sure you'll see more video popping up soon.
hp is good but getting it to the ground is a different story, so my question is for east coast drag racing on asphalt what gearing would you recommend with that 46cc motor? plus do you recommend single speed or 2 speed?
No doubt HP that you can't put to the wheels is useless in drag racing. I have one customer I can think of that's racing this engine in the east coast. He has it in a funny car with brp slicks I believe. We made a custom header so a boat style exhaust could be used and a 28T pinion. You guys run 132' feet correct? If so I would stay single speed.
+generalpetres We had to make custom gearing for this engine and as far as I know a fid 2 speed will not be compatible. This engine has so much power as it is I don't see a 2 speed benefiting much.
