Now, California Speed & Custom pays tribute to the retro Sport Truck era with a modern version of the first truck to use computer designed graphics that made waves across the industry.

My dad bought me a 1990 chevrolet silverado. 4.3 v6 5 speed. 700 bucks and wrecked as hell when I was 14. We put that truck back on the road and I still own it today. It's different now and he passed 12 years ago but it's my first true love. I will have it till the end. I'm now 35 in 4 days.

Man!! Please keep em coming. I could watch for hours. I love these trucks and the history is awesome. My dad had them all from an 88 short bed regular cab to a 2000 Crew cab Dually. Can’t wait till the next episode drops.

Still the only truck to make cover being all black, no graphics, to this day. The KMC Ford F-150 “Bofa” truck. Most iconic Ford from the magazines. The first vehicle ever to have 22” wheels and tires all 4 corners in 2000. Sponsored by Dunlop Tire and KMC. The story behind that truck and the sponsorships is insane. All from a phone call at 15yrs old, crazy.

Boyd should make a 22” replica of the 1999 lightening wheel. Best selling truck ever. Not many wheel choices tho. A 22” replica would be legit. 22x9.5 and 22x13 with the killer concave spokes 🙌

You SIR got a sub... Funny thing I was cleaning my garage today and I found my truckin magazines & Sport truck from the mid 90's till early 2000 middle school & high school days. Then I get recommend to this channel about the OBS trucks weird and scary but it's cool that this trucks are doing a come back. I should of keep my 96 Sierra 5.7 vortec . Good memories from the 90's

Love the series. I’ve got a 97 2door Tahoe 4x4 that was a show truck back in the day and now that I own it I’m going to put it back to it’s former glory it’s still has the lowering kit, the custom blue carpet the sound system and the super charger on it

Found this by looking up my 92 Chevy c1500 sport. Trucks in descent shape but it needs the Boyd look and power . My dream is to have a daily driver and weekend truck and no prep drag racing machine. Don’t want to have the fastest

Lol, Drop shop did such shit welding. I had Bruce McCoy do my c-notch. Its a 1989 C1500 I bought new in April 1989 and had him do the c-notch in June 1989. I still own that truck today. I had to grind those welds and re-do them on a renovation aporx 2000-2001 range because it looked so hideous. I have original pics of the c-notch welds on my computer still.

I had a 94 4 door dually 454 with 6” drop in front... 8” rear c-notch , air bags... painting ox blood metallic ....all I did was spend money on my truck....my dad kept telling me I was ruining my truck until he saw the final product

@@frankstefaniak4661 oh I know. I know that a c-notch done properly actually improves the frame integrity. It's just that psychological effect I get when cutting that gets me. That's after having notched or helping notch several trucks.
