@@RowlCustoms sometimes i go back to some of my comments, I sound like a douche! Way to keep it professional when dealing with scum like me lol. I aint that bad most of the time .
Rowl Customs darn and I’m like 1 hour and 15 minutes from summit racing in Ga! It’s in McDonough! Your build inspired me to restore mine! Are you on Instagram?
I'm so inspired, I really want an older ford truck here in Australia, but the prices are crazy. this video shows what a great truck you can have if you're willing to put in the work. looks amazing !
Alberta is also a pickup truck grave yard du to the winter climate, road salt and oil patch roads. This pickup is over 20 years old and hardly any rust on it to begin with, but in Alberta a 20 year old pickup is not even fit for the scrap yard, that how beat up they are.
@@Mark_Tschetter So true... it makes you want to cry looking at a truck that old with almost no rust. We've lost so many classics here because of it. I have a 1987 Suburban in very good shape but new metal (rockers, etc.) and paint have been done once and it will need it again in a few years.
Cheers Thom, we dont have many OBS Fords down here, most were imported and converted into an ambulance. Canada is an amazing place, been there a couple of times, Alberta is incredible!
A right hand drive! I have never seen one but of course Ford has always had a lot of vehicle crossover with Australia. I love Australia! Spent many years there on a US base. This is great to see. I drove a really cool Ford Falcon around South Australia back in the 1980s. (The closest American Ford to that Falcon would probably be a 72 Mustang Mach I Fastback or something like that. It was an inline 6 and had a 4 speed (or maybe it was a 3 speed) manual. Used to get sideways all over the outback in that thing.
Great job! I've got a 1991 F250 single cab long bed with a 351w and 5 speed. I'm the second owner. It has 29,000 original miles. I'm in the middle of completely restoring it. The body only has 3 minor dents, never been wrecked. I live in Las Vegas, where it spent it's entire life, so no rust. It's red with red interior. I'm changing the interior to black - it looks so much better. I replaced the rubber mat with carpet, a world of difference. Dynomat the entire interior, so much quieter. I've been thinking about converting the front end to the newer style. I'm going to repaint in factory red with black two-tone down the side. I have been trying to figure out what wheels I want to put on it. I'm glad I found your video as those Method wheels are exactly what I was looking for. Thanks again for posting.
@@Morse12321 I'm 75% there. Right now the truck is in the shop getting the engine completely redone. I don't like the lack of power because of the smog stuff, so the entire top end has been replaced with GT40P heads, Edelbrock intake, mild cam, Holley carb and HEI distributor. I should be getting it back shortly. This fall, I will have it painted a light army green with black accents. No more red, inside or out - yay. I put on some awesome tires and wheels that made a world of difference in how it looks. I so love my truck.
I’ve never seen a right hand drive Ford truck before. At first I thought the footage was flipped or something but then realized that the writing and numbers were the right way. Cool build.
Nice. This was calming to watch. And good job, didn't miss a beat. Scary to think the trucks I saw growing up everywhere are pretty much classics now lmao
I’ve watched this episode a couple times. I have 2 OBS 1996 Ford’s. An F350 Dually and a short box F150. I would love to get all the right hand drive parts for the shorty.
AMAZING!!!! Good job!! I am a HUGE Ford fan! We have 19 Ford trucks....no joke! My. husband just restored my 1990 F350.....its CHERRY!!! Thanks for all your info :) Keep em coming!!
That’s a beautiful truck. I just got my permit a few months ago and got a little car for starters but I’m about to get an OBS 4X4 that we found for sale for a stupid good price! So It’s gonna be my daily driver and I want to do mods and restoration stuff to it when I can. Maybe I’ll do videos about it on my channel!?!
soooooooooooooo weird seeing my dash in a mirror xD that new front bumper fits beautifully!!!! id upgrade but i have a diesel that constantly needs tinkering and need a large platform to stand on xD mad job on this truck, she looks amazing!
Great video - Impressive work! Question for you: You showed how you filled some of the outer box holes in with the welder, and you showed sanding down the other various screw holes. What did you do to actually fill in those guys before the body work? Thanks.
Well done, the right hand drive threw me for a loop at first, had to look closely at the tag. That truck would fit right in here in Texas. Not a fan of the after market head lights tho. Like the stock better. Nice truck! 7.3! 🤘🤘👊👊👍
Ik it's a year later but hopefully u see this I got a 1994 f250 351w and the entire front end needs repair. Do u have the links u got the grill, bumper, and the headlights from?
That’s awesome seeing all the body work come along. I’ve done it all before on an S10 but have a OBS 7.3 I’d love it so soon. Have you done anything for the interior panels or dash?
