Thank you! I'm using Manjaro Linux with the KDE desktop it has various Desktop Effects and this one was called Track Mouse which you can enable or disable with a shortcut key combo. No sorry I'd not done on audio filters for OBS as I struggled a bit myself - I did do some filters for the microphone but it was pretty complex (after watching other videos) and I do find it can be a bit choppy especially if I run many other things in the background (clearly the more filters, the more processing). But I'm using the basic included filters in OBS for Noise Gate, Noise Suppression, Compressor, Expander, Gain, and Limiter.
@@GadgeteerZA thx for the reply ! I really like your newsletter btw. I’ll look into the track mouse, I’m running a vm with kali (don’t know what I’m doing tbh ) just to be “cool”. I went through about 20 audio tutorials , my fav is one called something like “make any mic sound expensive in obs | mic settings and filters 2023). “ I just finished my first recording with a poor usb mic, and recorded it with a canon m50 and rose mic, going to import into Davinci (which I still don’t know how to use hehe) and go from there. Btw, mad respect on your newsletter not accepting sponsorships bc of your open source philosophy, you’re a legend.
