Thank you, your comparison saved me to buy the Pivo Pad (or better: i just ordered it but will send it back unopend as i ordered the obsbot me from the same online-store). this is the first video i that i found that shows the "hard-stop" issue. as a musician doing solo-clips too, smoothness is essential. shure, the concepts are different and may fit the needs of different users. for me Obsbot Me hopefully will be the perfect choice :-)

You’re going to make me lose all my Pastor friends lol! I keep watching you then showing them how to spend more money. But it’s future proofing us. I am a charismatic speaker so I move a lot this is amazing and so much cheaper than a ptz. My mevo 3 pack arrives today this will be my next purchase. Thank you for your guidance!

Yes, it has a 1/4 20 port on bottom.

Looks like the Obsbot me has a little bit of trouble keeping up! That worries me. Just got one in the mail to film skateboarding fingers crossed it works!

And with no app to give settings to tweak it is what it is. I will say it only lost me when the eye was obstructed. I had the Pivo tracking speed set to its fastest setting.

Ok I just got the taller one. And I'm a little bit lost and how connecting it where I can see on my phone out of the camera it's a little bit confusing

The Obsbot ME is a ‘no app required’ device. You just record (or stream) from the apps you usually use on your phone (camera, Instagram, RU-vid etc) and let the lens on the Obsbot track you. Their product page does a pretty good job of describing it.

Is there anyway to make the pivo pad sensor more smoother like the Obsbot Me through one of it's features on the app?

They did update the firmware after this video was made but I haven’t spent time with it since the update.

Hey man, love the content and the answers to questions you’ve provided to me recently. What would be your potential suggestions if I wanted to add a camera to a softball setup that tracks one player on the field? I’d ideally like the ability to change that player by game. One game could be the pitcher, next could be the CF. Any suggestions?

I dont know of a consumer grade product that allows this yet. Catapult and Kinexion will track but they look to be more for data than for video. Pixellot is tracking everybody. The solution you’re after doesn’t seem to be ready. If you know of something point me in the right direction.

It would be interesting to see the Obsbot in operation like, upside down, hanging from a ceiling and thus not interfering more than necessary in a congregational (church) setting. Also upto which payload you can go, like, if you probably can attach e.g. a Sony ZV1 with it's 294 grams (inlcl. the battery) to it, which perfectly fits into a standard smartphone clamp. That way you'd have a pretty nice video quality up to 4k filming the preacher. The Pivo unfortunately works smartphone only because of it's odd holder. Obviously it's too jerky anyways. Yet modern phones also can give a decent video quality with both of the systems.
