The Piccadilly players are some of my most favourite Edison recordings! Irving Peskin and the mystery that surrounded that great studio group is so enchanting sometimes. Not to mention the fantastic sides by them. Also Red Nichols solos on Pardon My Glove are killer!

I love IN A CORNER w Dicky Wells Frankie Newton Don Frye and Cecil Scott. A record that is truly desert island to me. As lot of other favourites here, the Marlon Handy is a tough one to have on 78 - love it! Also that Lew Leslie 78 - LOVE that band, Carmello Jari a clarinet so great, he has been mistaken for Buster Bailey.

Great to hear bands I was never aware of!!
