Honestly, Megpoid the Music could probably be better if they made a new version of the game. Now we have a lot of Gumi songs that are super cool, and animation software has definitely improved over time to where the game could be better than the last one.
I remember trying the Hatsune Miku AR Live app right before Miku sunk herself from my desk into an unknown void which resulted in the app crashing and never turning on again unless I reinstalled it 10/10 wish I could get lost the same way as Miku

I want to tell you about a game called Hatsune Miku Graphy Collection, It was a gacha game where you collected cards with art from the cryptonloids and use their elemental powers to complete different stages. I really miss that game...it was adorable and had lots of outfits for the characters Also you could put your favourite on the menu and listen to their voice, I clearly remember them saying "Start!", "Go Go!" and "Stage Clear!" with their cute voices... I was there the last day of the app, it was sad to see such a beautiful little game disappear

I remember years ago on my iPhone I had this Tako Luka side scroller where you could collect powerups and defeat enemies, and it had this really cute repetitive song in the background that could be changed to a Miku version if you wanted. There is a yuzuki yukari mobile game on the app store thats basically you playing as yuzuki yukari climbing up stairs and avoiding obstacles from these ghost/demon creatures. You can still find it on the app store now and the name of the game is in japanese. Just search "yuzuki yukari" on the android app store
It's actually not obscure, a lot are still playing it, although it is losing popularity because well you only tap... I played it before, but I had to remove due to storage. Anyway. Fans are still talking about it, so it's not near to oblivion yet.
there’s also this game called leaping destiny i found recently on the app store, its by DWARF PLANET INC. and has Otomachi Una as a playable character as well as some of the songs she sings in. i have no idea if it is official though

I found Vocaloid through the app Beat Beat Vocaloid Plus when I was really young, and I still play it till this day, I have no idea if it's known or obscure but it is really fun to play and has a great variety of songs, the app is available through Amazon now and you can still buy the extra song packs,, but yeah I probably sound stupid this app could have already been known about
Idk if this is obscure or not, but I remember a Hello Kitty 3DS game called "Hello Kitty's magic apron" It was a rhythm game and the singers where YV1 and Avanna. Also, a song in the game had kinda disturbing lyrics, I think the song was called "Tempura."

Somehow stumbled across it on the App Store back in the day, along with a mobile game based off Bacterial Contamination Miku where you ate cockroaches and leveled up into better versions of well... a chibi Bacterial Contamination Miku. Think you could also use coins from beating levels to unlock a couple different outfits
The reason some APK's crash when opening them is because they are meant for older phones, there is an app you can get called vmos that emulates an old phone and will let you play them.
Don’t know if you knew or not but there was a unity-Chan ios app/game, you would make her sing while looking at her mmd model singing. All though you needed to pay 3 dollars just for it. I don’t know what happened to it but I think it probably is in the App Store still
Wow. I'm shocked I missed knowing about or playing so many games, thank you for putting this together. I have one to add in: there wasn't much game play involved, but there was this old web browser-based game where your objective was to infinitely stack cubes that had nice icons of Vocaloid's faces on them. It had Len, Rin, Kaito, IA, Miku, and...I think Meiko, not sure if Luka was in it or not. IA was pretty new at this time. The cube stack would slide from left to right across the screen and you had to time when to drop your cube, and it sped up as you got more stacked. In the bottom right corner it had a music player that told you what Vocaloid song was playing, so you got to listen to song samples as you played or you could mute it (but they each lasted less than 30-50 seconds, and it didn't have very many). I was trying to find this again the other day because I missed hearing Len whenever you failed to stack his cube at the top, because as his cube fell he would just say something along the lines of "It was probably pointless" in the most hilarious voice while others would scream or say something about disappointment in the player. I'm sad I can't find it yet, and the things I've found relevant so far imply it could be gone. I wasted hours on this thing when I was 14/15, trying to make the sky image in its background look like a night sky for once. Think my highest score was something close to 80-90 blocks, it was tough.
i remember both goodnight lapis and the puzzle game! i used to fiddle with them a lot for someone who didn't understand japanese. thank you for this! seeing that small lapis on the thumbnail unlocked such nostalgic memories :')
Ehh Honkai isn’t a vocaloid game it is an anime rpg game, but there is this vocaloid called Kizuna Akari that is so similar to Kiana Kaslana so that’s kinda close to a *vocaloid reference*
The closest we get to Honkai having anything to do with Vocaloid are the MMD dances and some of the old songs being sung by Miku before they were able to get other vocalists.
@@ENTROPYCHAN Lesser so Honkai Impact. I know she sung Hitori Botchi and Diva of Disruptive world (not to be confused with Disruptive Diva, completely different song) from Honkai Gakuen. Don't know if those versions of the songs are still on youtube but, yeah. Years ago, they used her before they got other vocalists. I think if you look for one of the really early GGZ pvs you might still be able to hear at least one version. As for Honkai Impact, they already commissioned/vocalists to sing the songs. It's been literal years since Mihoyo used Miku.

Other obscure games I remember: Hatsune Miku Dreamy Vocal is a discontinued Chinese rhythm game. It had a decent list of songs and you can even give VOCALOIDs gifts like in Project DIVA X (and F and F2nd). Finder is a very strange adventure/platformer game for Hatsune Miku. There are simple puzzles and very strange stages. I'm pretty sure it's for Android only.
Another game that I'm sure wasn't official at all is Miku Miku Online. As the name suggests, it was an online server in which you could use MMD models and motions and walk around and talk with people. The game really didn't have more than that and while still downloadable I think the server might've shut down, but according to a 2018 post by that date the server had been up and running even after the project got dropped in 2013

You should do one just on weird mobile games on the Google Play Store. Unlike the Apple App Store, what gets put up on there is way less regulated and it’s full of bizarre fan creations.

I played 3 of these!!! Hatsune Miku AR - I tried, but never really understood it lol Hatsune Miku AR live - It's simple and fun. There's not a lot to do. Music Girl- played it for some time. Got bored quickly... But I was around 12/13 at the time so I have no idea what would do now lol My favourite VOCALID app has to be the Miku AR Camera/Mikuture. It was there that I first saw Yuzuki Yukari lol Pretty fun to play with. I will be sad if they ever take it down tbh. I made pretty weird photos with these.
There also a game called tama planets were ur hanchune miku planting stuff and have farm animals is up on Google play store if you wonder And another called miku tap were it just a tap game with miki in it Also a heard idk if its true but there a game with luo vy1 vy2 and a few other were its like garage band a bit but like beat Saber idk if this is true do I never saw it

I used to play vocadol for a while. It was one of the first games that I had ever played that wasn't in English. I kinda wish they had mobile game that was just the character interactions and mini games from Project Mirai dx. I would play that.
