What a refreshing message in a world where many can’t seem to see parallels between faith and morality

What a phenomenal talk on revelation! Elder Renlund visited our ward nearly a year ago, and we shared with him how his talk on revelation from that most recent General Conference helped us make a crucial decision in our lives that continues to bless us to this day. Thank you, Elder Renlund 🙏🏾

Always greatful to our leaders for their reminders and guidance in this chaotic last days.

Just want to point out that we should seek out God’s solutions (the one who created our bodies and knows perfectly how they work and can heal) to help heal our disease, which can be very different from man’s. Doing nothing but having ‘faith’ vs trusting doctors aren’t our openly options.

Not to be Captain Obvious but Elder Renlund is quite possibly one of the best public speakers ever.

Very clear, indepth, and helpful! Those who exclude faith in their research and learning will miss out on opportunities to know for themselves.

This was great. All great forms of inquiry after knowledge and truth have a faith-based element, even the sciences. The trust of the scientific community is just as much a faith process as is any faith in a religious tradition. Thank you Elder Renlund!

I feel like I owe this guy a hundred dollars. Either that or learn to make priceless dolls. It is just a strange intuition as if he did something I asked him not to. A very decent speech.

Faith has two definitions, it is an action (not passive) and a partial knowledge. Those who told him that Faith alone is inaction are wrong. It is about what or whom you put your faith in. Faith (action) alone can bring miracles but it must be informed with truth (reason). But a full knowledge is not required for action. One can testify that they know, while still exercising faith as an action. They can have a perfect knowledge and still be acting in faith. By Christ's faith the world was created. All things with Christ are possible. Understanding that these words have multiple definitions applied in context make scriptures clear that may otherwise seem conflicting.

I hope that if I ever confuse my professional opinion with revelation, and my opinion turns out to not be true, that I will do everything I can to undo the damage I have caused. There are many people who have left when they see that a medication is not as effective as promised. This could end with transparency and humility.

38:15 This story totally reminded me of "I'm making plans to woo and marry Belle." Well, Belle didn't WANT to marry Gaston!

You should ask yourself If what you are feeling to do is contrary to the gospel then it is not good, and of the adversary. If what influences you to do good, and is in relation to the gospel, is of the spirit.

Since I have the Lord who speaks to me ,personally...would you agree with your own Sermon, that He speaks to me personally ? that... I say the Lord speak to me about your Mormon Church?

You all need to stay away from medical analogies and recommendations. Do you KNOW how many people have left the Church over the notion that the thing is "safe and effective"? Leave the proselytizing for the thing to the medical field.
