Agreed, you cannot treat yourself worse than you treat others because you are an "other" to others too. The person you hate the most, you also love the same as the person you love the most. Sadly I have this to be true. Many times we think we love people, but oh how soon we turn on them when they act like our enemies. Love all. Give God your allegiance and serve others for Him, not them. Then, if they spurn you, they spurn the Lord, as you are on His errand. Then your bowels will be filled with mercy for them, as you will never feel like they owe you.... but that they owe Him. That will make you want to love them even more...

Part of the problems of today is we’re more reactive than proactive. We let out feelings get the best of us.

Not true? Do you read his words? He is judging us constantly, although he loves us. We will be held accountable and punished for our sins if we do not FORSAKE THEM and follow him. Jesus is not a “teddy bear”. When he returns it will be with power and justice! Not just soft love?

@@calvertcarroll7502 "Justice is mine saith the Lord." Justice is God's job. All we have to do is allow Him through; allow Him to do it. But God can't work through us if we are contaminated (by evil thoughts and deeds). That is why WE have to be peaceful and all the other good stuff.

Peace will not come to the world until Christ returns. “Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rather division” (Luke 12:51). Jesus was not saying that He prevented peace; He was giving fair warning that His message would divide people. After all, who likes to be told they are sinners who must repent? When Christ began His earthly ministry, He showed love, gave comfort, and brought healing. The people’s response was to oppose Him, reject Him, arrest Him, and kill Him. And Satan does everything in his power to steer peace seekers away from the Peacemaker, Jesus Christ. The same people that talk of peace, lobby for it and convene peace conferences, are often the same people who are blinded by Satan who does not want the world to recognize the Source of peace. But personal peace can be realized in the here and now. Jesus said, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace” (John 16:33). The future does not hinge on the world situation, however grim it might become. It depends on what each person does about Jesus Christ.

I am grateful for this message thank you President Nelson. I hope all people will apply this message to their lives .. I am nourished by my parents to love our fellowmen and always a peacemaker to all of my lives .

Respectfully, we are not all God's children. We are all God's creation with value. To be a child of God, you must be Born-Again... born of the Spirit! When you become a Christian, you become adopted by God, in which you cry out, "Abba Father"!! :D. God bless!!
