Its sad how mentally unstable people perceive certain situations in a totally different way than people who are mentally stable. I see both sides of the situation. Derek is trying to be understanding and sympathetic, as a boss should be with his employees. Whereas Lisa, who is not alright in the head, takes what he says way too deep and personal. When he clearly feels nothing for her. Of course, when things don't go her way, she acts impulsively.

Boss, employee, or even just a work associate I feel like if any decent human being saw a young female crying at work it's completely OK to talk about it as long as it's OK with her. He even asked her "do you want to talk about it?" If she didn't want to share it she could've just said that. But yea he was just trying to be nice here and try and help her feel better. Little did he know she went coo coo for cocoa puffs after this.

Massive difference between comforting someone and leading someone on. Comforting is like consoling the loss of relationship or the death of a loved one. Leading someone on would be dropping subtle hints of interest. Nobody should lead someone on when they’re in a state of sadness. Lisa used that perspective to act like the damsel in distress and Derek to act as the hero to save her.

Most of you don't even realize, THERE WAS NEVER A BOYFRIEND IN THE FIRST DAMN PLACE!!! 😂😂😂 This was Lisa beginning her way to inch her way in!!!! Note how she tells Derek his wife "has everything" and Derek tells her that "nothing's perfect" - which was all he needed to say to her deluded self 💀😭
