Such a wonderful opportunity to have you with us live--thank you for doing so. And I apologize in the chat my computer corrected my poor typing and called you Irena! 🙈 Thank you Ivana! I love seeing your garden in addition to the rest of your content and the music is always just right. Happy knitting and crocheting and I hope your summer doesn't get too hot!
This was such a wonderful catching up time with you, dear Ivana! I am now totally hooked 🤭 on a crochet blanket. We have a cat who loves to dig himself into my knitted blanket, so much that it became the cat’s because he has created a few holes that I needed to patch. I also tried and felted it, but it was a scrappy project and not all the yarns felted well. I think I must do another one. I am contemplating green, because I have a lot of bits of green left and I can hold black mohair as you did. I think it will be so lovely and warm here in the subarctic where I live. Thank you for this great idea! Also, those cactus are gorgeous!!! A warm hug from the other side of the world. ❤
That Thai restaurant looks amazing and so special!!!! That is the kind of food/drink experience I'm looking for but living remotely means a few hour drive at minimum! I adore your crochet blankets and I too enjoy making them. Thank you for this peaceful hour my friend. xxoo Judy
I have been watching reruns from Starship Voyager lately and you have the voice of Captain Janeway. It is absoutely amazing, lol. ;-) Love your podcast. Huggs Christina.
Thank you Ivana! Your blankets are things of beauty to spread throughout your home and to other lucky souls. I also find great satisfaction in having blankets on the go. Most recently my 95 year old mother and I knitted all the squares I need for a throw blanket and I am now crocheting a border around each square and will join them all together - inspired by Inge of Knitting Traditions. I want my Mom to enjoy this blanket once it's finished. As usual I loved watching your gardening video portions!
I was wondering what stitch you used, so thank you for filming single crochet at the end! ALL the blankets are so gorgeous and as a spinner, I shall try your technique of singles with another yarn. As always, grateful you share your daily life with us and allow us into your home. Take care..❤❤
Hello from Indiana!!! I always knit along with your videos and I love your company. I recently learned how to crochet and I'm obsessed with did cloths. Seeing your beautiful crochet blanket makes me think of doing one too. Happy knitting crocheting everyone!!!
Ivana, you amaze me. Everything you create is just beautiful. The blankets you crochet are gorgeous, and I think will inspire me to try something I am not comfortable with. I have TONS of wool roving I had processed. The blankets would be a great way to use the wool. I dont know much, but what is the crochet stitch? Single or double? And hold two strands hand spun with the mohair? Thank you. ❤❤
Yes to all of the above. You allowed a glimpse into your beautiful life, yes you inspired me and yes your voice soothes me while knitting. I really find your projects and the color choices to be exquisite. Thanks so much for another wonderful podcast. ♥️
Thank you for sharing a little bit your life. You’ve got a new follower this night. 🥰 It’s so wonderful to see a bit of the everydaylife in your little paradise.
Manu things to comment on. Beautiful garden, amazing you took the dog in and it got reunited with her owner. I do think it is good idea to make a crochet blanket since it is sturdier for cats or just simple daily use. Much love to see you are doing good Ivana 🌸
So good to see you, Ivana! Loved all the amazing moments and projects in your video, thank you for bringing us with you! Glad that a little elderly lady found her owner :) Sending love and hugs! ♥♥
I love that it’s so hot where you are in the world and we just had our last snowstorm ❄️ of the season. Hi, from New Hampshire USA. Happy knitting and crocheting 💚🧶💚
I love your blankets! Just beautiful! All your work is always perfect. Thank you for sharing a few minutes of your life in Cyprus. It is so different from my life in Maine, USA.
Thanks Ivana for an enjoyable episode.Nice to spend time with you.I too have been consumed by blanket .making- both knitted and crochet.I did one recently with black base and scraps held together but you have inspired me to try black mohair and natural colours.I also find the weight comforting and the repetition a calming, mindful process.I wish you well in your days.Planting and repotting like me...even though we are countries and hemispheres apart. Go well,dear.heart.🙏👋🐨🌏xx
We are,Ivana...in many ways ,except for stilettos ...I'm a barefoot,Birkie ,Doc & Blundstone girl.My bunions are much happier these days.🤭Take care 🙏❤️xx☀️🐨🌏
Ivana, watched part of your video before starting work. Would be good if you could do the live around 12.40-1pm your time. Here in South Australia, we are 6.5hrs ahead of Cyprus. I keep thinking I should start spinning but beginning casual work which is more full time at 68, has taken away my free time. Im usually brain dead by the evening. Lovey your opening tune. My friend Irena will be 102 next week. She was born on Ikaria Island and lives in Adelaide. She does her own cooking, cleaning and shopping. Her father lived till he was 107. Her family run a hotel on the island. Irena's mother used a piece of wood attached to a potato as a drop spindle.
Such a lovely video Ivana, you started with my favorite part, harvesting your garden. The blankets are beautiful and I also find the music very nice. Thanks for sharing once again
Ivana, the joy and love in the face of a young Mother you reached out to celebrating the beginning of her journey as a parent was beautiful. The gift of your hand spun to her hands where she will knit in the memories of these early years will bring back time and again cherished moments. Generosity of spirit comes from one who lives in gratitude.
Dear Ivana its so inspiring to watch your podcasts😘i havé been following your podcast for over a year now. I have knitted 5 ind and out raglans also and i must most certainly knit more ❤️ i live in Denmark only 30 km from camijoknit and i know Camilla and have testknitting for her. I have the diagnose PTSD after a klient stabbed me at my work as a chef for socialworkers. I did not know him but I guess i was a symbol for the danish systems 😢 i started knitting in 2018 and love to watch You dear❤️❤️🥰😘
I'm glad you like the In & Out raglans.... it makes me so happy. PTSD is not a joke, I was also diagnosed years ago when my son was hit by a car. He was 2 yrs old at the time, and while we were crossing the street, the car hit the push chair and the baby with it. He is ok now but these horrific events stay with us, and I'm so sorry you are going through this. Ivana ❤
@@therepublicofme uh that must have been horrific😢 I am so glad to heat that He is doing well today. Children are better to recover than growups ❤️❤️❤️
Hello Ivana, from Kimberly in Utah, just wondering when you crochet your afagans if you crochet a border on them, I have 4 going right now for Christmas. All out of my scrap sock yarn
Dear Ivana You are always Very god campany. I have followed You for more than a year now, and knitted 4 ind and our raglans I absolutely love them, and i will be knitting more of them❤️❤️ I live in Denmark only 30 km always from Camijoknit and I know Camilla. And sometimes I testknit for her. I started knitting in 2018 as I was given the diagnose PTSD. I had been stabbed at my work, as a chef for socialworkers by a Very sick person. I did not know him at all but I guess I was a symbol of the danish society nevertheless. I have had a lot of problems managing my thoughts and anxiety since then and found out that knitting stopped my thoughts. Over a year ago I found your podcast and You are a wonderfull person and i love to watch You podcasts Thanks a lot
