PF2e have released the Remaster Content and as such the Obsidian community have been tinkering on how to get content into Obsidian. This process utilises FoundryVTT and allows you to very quickly import all the monsters, spells, items, vehicles, hazards, rules, actions, etc.

So many great tips in this one! Re: the confusion about which note you're linking to with the Various Complements plugin, if you go to the plugin settings > 'appearance' > 'Description on a suggestion', and change it to 'Full', this includes the file path, which makes it easier to see what you're getting.

Found the channel because of the algorythm. I've been using google docs for my campaign notes and I was feeling like I was outgrowing the platform. Now thanks to your tutorials I'm setting everything up to run games with Obsidian from my tablet, without even needing internet in the first place (it is really slow where our group plays our weekly pf2e game). Just wanted to say thanks, I'll keep an eye out for new videos with tips, my vault is looking quite professional already. Thank you a lot for your great work compiling all this great info. Edit 1: Also, need to ask, ¿is there a way to get traits from foundry? Maybe it's a dumb question, I'm currently adding them by hand, but it will take ages as there are lots of traits.

My monster blocks are very narrow and go far down -. basically not using two columns for the stats - they do not expand like yours further to the left and right screen space. Almost as if it thinks it has to display in mobile format. Any idea why this could be the case?

Disable Readable line length in Obsidian's settings. Settings > Editor > Readable Line Length That worked for me, let's hope it works for you too.

G'day Josh. Just wondering if you had any issues getting the vehicles to show up in a statblock? they don't appear to me unless I am looking at the code for them

When you have an adventure do you want to export from the journals or compendium? Exporting the journals causes problems with a bunch of the art assets. It is adding extra text in quotes after some of the file names and they aren't being unzipped by Windows.

I've found the journals are more successful. Compendium seems to create some funky results.

@@JoshPlunkett I figured out the issue I think. The art has spaces in the filename so it takes a little cleaning up to fix. The links don't wrap the links in and the art isn't automatically exported so I have to change the links and get the art from my foundry directory

@@Holupgarcon raise it as an issue on the pf2e export plugin github site so that the dev is aware. He's pretty am good at fixing these things.

Am I mistaken, but was there some way of having the images in foundry if you had the PDFs?
@JoshPlunkett
@JoshPlunkett 3 месяца назад
You could try one of the pdf import plugins. I've not come across a way that adds them to the monsters, although it's not something I've searched for either.

Great video. Why is the pathfinder remaster stylesheet not showing you think?

Stylesheet?

Sorry, I meant the alternate color scheme option 'pathfinder remaster '. At 28:07

@TheGreyLeague make sure you have the its theme installed and updated. From the its theme doco site, download the fonts and icons css files and install and enable them. And install style settings. Assuming that's all done. I would jump into the community discord and get someone to take a peek.

Is there a way to do this without foundry? My group plays in person with dungeon tiles, so buying foundry and the modules for the files seems steep but I'd love to be able to set this up as I use obsidian for dnd following your videos.
@JoshPlunkett

If you play dnd instead look at my site for the cli tutorials.

@JoshPlunkett My group is switching over to Pathfinder so I was hoping to set that up. I already have the DND cli setup from your tutorials

Currently broken at step 3 (Configure Game Settings). Does not work with Foundry version 12.
@JoshPlunkett
@JoshPlunkett Месяц назад
Yeah had a feeling that would be the case. I'm still running v11 and won't update until all my plugins have safely updated. There is a way to install previous versions.

@@JoshPlunkett Thanks for that. I'll go back to v11 for the time being.
