Foreword This activity-based textbook is structured as one of the supports for the 2013 Curriculum which is refined. This textbook emphasizes the achievement of student competencies according to established graduation standards. Because only as a support, students and teachers are expected not to use this book as the only textbook that is a reference in the teaching- learning process in the classroom. This book is more a book of student activities that still need supporting books in order to enrich students' insights and skills. Students can also make use of other relevant learning materials, including encyclopedias, various books that discuss topics related to learning, magazines, newspapers, and so on. This book is based on basic competencies developed by the Ministry of Education and Culture. This book has gone through a process of review, evaluation, editing, and has received notes and suggestions for improvements made by reviewers and the editorial team under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and Culture. Unlike the previous student books, based on the agreement of the authors and the Center for Curriculum and Bookkeeping (Puskurbuk), this student book is not equipped with practice sheets. This is done so that the teacher maximizes the activities and exercises during the learning process, rather than jumping directly to the problem solving exercises. If needed, the teacher can also create his own to make practice questions and assessment materials needed and adapted to the conditions of students. The author is well aware that this book is not perfect. Therefore, the authors highly expect input for improvement leads to perfection. We like to make an alternate version of most of our songs as our own remix/re-imagining of the original. It allows us to explore new sections, develop some things more, try new approaches, and generally make them more cinematic. A lot of filmmakers like to use our music, so this gives them more material to work with. New endings, cut points, moods, etc. We usually completely finish the main version then pull it apart with no boundaries for the alt. This tends to be very satisfying and we usually end up liking the alt versions better than the originals! :)
