Oh, I struggle with that too. Sometimes I wish there was one more age category because there is such a difference between a 5 and 9 year old. I think 2-4, 5-7, 8-11, and 12-14 would be ideal. 😊.

Val this is such a cute and creative shoebox gift. Love that you dressed the puppy in an elf vest! So cute! I also love the Lisa Frank notebook with similar puppy on the front ❤. Thanks for watching. It was fun to pack once I realized I had all the elf themed goodies and I was thrilled to have a cute puppy on which the vest would fit perfectly. ☺️
Oh goodness, I had that notebook for a while and I am not 💯% sure where I got it. I think Walmart in the clearance aisle. It was marked down but I think it was still $3.
Haha the funko pop stickers are too cute! I think the Lisa Frank notebook is so pretty. Such vibrant colors! Great idea to give the puppy a collar 🤣. I think you all getting together to do lunch and exchange goodies is such a blessing. I do have a question for you. Do you always in crayons and coloring pencils for the kids 5-14? I debated myself about including the scrunchie as a dog collar, but because it was Elf themed, I had to do it 😁 I always include colored pencils for the 10-14’s, but not always crayons. It depends on what kind of coloring book I include. I think colored pencils and gel pens or markers work better for adult coloring books, don’t you?
@@valswain yes I agree with you. I don’t put crayons either in 10-14 but for 5-9 I do and leave out the coloring pencils. It’s amazing how much I run out of when school supplies are NOT on sale🤣
