Orange County Choppers teamed up with the WWE to make the new World Heavyweight Championship Belt. Using inspiration from past designs and integrating the new WWE Network vision, the new belt takes shape. With the iconic silhouette and new WWE logo, OCC helps bring this colossal belt to life using our state of the art CNC machining and the knowledge and wisdom of our skilled employees. Taking full advantage of the latest technology, tools, and machines OCC breaths life to the new World Heavyweight Championship Belt. +Keenan Adams The titles were unified hence the name WWE World Heavyweight Championship. In 2011 WWE dissolved the brand split didn't make sense to have a wrestler carry two belts to represent one champion.

Bryan Carter but this belt uses side plates. Which is not something that the Attitude Era belt had. Or any championship belt. Also, i think someone else should've made this belt, not OCC. The leather strap is so stiff that when it was unveiled, Lesnar had to move it constantly for it to fold over his shoulder.

When I first saw this belt I hated being a WWE fan my whole life I didn't think it was what a belt should look like. But over time the belt has grown on me and I have learned to like it. It's really not that bad and it's more in tune with the current times.

It's great craftsmanship but I was hoping that they would revamp the 2002-2005 WWE Championship belt. I thought it was the best modern take on the winged eagle belt. The current one now is pretty simple but it's way better than the spinner belt which wore out its welcome,

Not only is pure gold very easy to bend and therefore break, it’s very hard to actually mold gold in a perfect way. Also having all that as pure gold would be very very expensive

If it was made out of pure gold.. it would dent as gold is a very soft metal. They made this one out of aluminum and plate it in 24k gold. Usually belts are made with zinc.. but this one is different. Interesting choice to go with aluminum.

He's a promoter and it's their creation, he's not gonna bad mouth it. While I agree with you that this belt is nothing like the old, the only thing that Vince refers to is that there is no name plate like belts of the old. The name plate was introduced into the wwe in the attitude era, and it has since been removed by this belt.
