The seemingly SMALL bits of AID, to those whom are Able-Bodied, non-effected / limited challenged individuals, may seem minimally without merit. ==> To a physically challenged person’s hands, each properly selected item, is simply “PRICELESS !” As a 40+ year MSer, I can not begin to explain to you, the HUGE ASSISTANCE these items provide... Within 1 week, I will become (77) years old. These are truly FANTABULOUS ! ! ! NOTE: “PROPER SELECTION of these AIDS, are beyond any Monetary $$$ VALUE !” “MAKE a LIFE BETTER !”

Thank you very much! I needed a nice refresher on some of our OT feeding equipment, and this did the job nicely.

Thanks for the information. I have C5 spinal cord damage. I was wondering if you knew how the Kennedy cup got it's name. The story I got is that Ted Kennedy was using one when he rolled his car into the Chappaquiddick, and he didn't spill a drop.

Instead of a rocker knife, I use a pizza cutter.

You can google the name, most are found in a catalog which is usually retrieved through your employer or online.

Hi. What type of adaptive spoon can help an elderly patient whose neck is tilted to the left? Every time she eats, a significant amount of food falls to the floor because of the angulation of the spoon in relation to her tilted neck? We cannot tilt the spoon so that it will parallel her mouth because the food will just fall off the spoon.
@MrsTimishaTross
@MrsTimishaTross Год назад
I would need alittle more details, but if the only issue is the head tilt, I would look into a "deep spoon" which will lessen food from falling out.

@@MrsTimishaTross yes, it's the head tilt that's causing so much food falling. I will suggest to use a deep spoon. Thanks.
