On the other side of you well there is a tap, you can drink there directly (fill the bottle you're just using, without removing it). Especially good if you have no spare bottle...
By new game mechanics, all your tools (grinder, blowtorch etc.) will take some damage while you use them, you need sometimes either repair kit or Workbench to repair them...
Tablets - those give you access to (random) new technologies... you still need to research them, but many things in techtree are locked without tablets. If you lack inventory space, it might be usefull to open all of them, there is no reason in keeping them unopened...
Awwww... Workshop is the core of your future base, it is quite not smart to build it too close to that "water spot" as you will be unable to expand in that direction... best place for your base is flat, empty and no too far from initial Escape module and Water well... not too far but not too close either. BTW, if you mine those big rocks, the get away but ten to spawn back later... not fatal but not nice either :(
Battery rack is not priority... just convenience. Aw, unlucky placed research points are "unrecoverable"... you will probably soon have more but its a loss.
That Sink is not bad but also a thing of convenience, allows you to "drink" water there instead of going to well... BTW, with unnecessary Sink and Rack, you will soon not have enough space in your Workshop and will need to build second one to increase room...
