He may be more important but doom is every rappers favorite rapper by miles. And what do you mean by overrated? Kool Keith for some stupid reason doesn't even sample which doom has mastery over. Doom is a better lyricist as well. Doom has a much better grasp over double meanings and his type of rap. Kool Keith has on the other hand delved into different kinds of rap, and is a different kind of lyricist although the styles of rap are similar. Saying doom is overrated is a discredit to rap
