I think that Barn 34 used to be a Christmas deco shop, open all year 'round. That was back until the 90s sometime. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I haven't been there in about 17 years (I'm 67 now). OMG the Bull on the Beach is still there! They had the best food and raw bar ever! That was where I drank my first white russian, and had my only ride in a hitchhiked Lamborghini with a young lady. Anthony's used to sell the "steamship round of beef" which was precursor to the Philly steak sandwich back then for people from the South. (LOL) Some OC things come and go over the years, and some will remain icons into the future. On a sad note, Phillips closing is definitely the end of a long era. I could go on and on, but I have to say that OCMD has done a great job of constantly modernizing itself as years went by.

No Coins ever again as we , have gone to Watermans, The Captains Galley II, Shark on the Harbor, The Hobbit, Harborside Bar and Grill, The Cottage Cafe. Coins was too much breading, dark dingy old and sticky table. It was low brow and nothing like the others mentioned. However we will try your suggestions on Vista Rooftop in the Fenwick Inn. It might work and it might drown out the ambient sounds. I think the occasional crackles lend authenticity to a dude that films next to the Atlantic Ocean.
Crabcake Factory. No. Not very good. The best in town are in carry outs like Uptown Eats and Captains Galley. Best breakfast would be Bayside Skillet. Barn 34 is “ok” Agree about Papi’s, it might actually be the best Mexican, but Mothers is good too.
Yeah, but does Anthony's beat Jersey Mike's? I'm glad you didn't mention Higgin's Crab House and their "restricted" all you can eat ... what a crock and super expensive too.
