This oval creation was done on a lazy susan. Much of the spinning process has been clipped out to shorten the video as I had a couple of stubborn spots.
I painted the base blue in order to assist with the spread of paint, this coat was still wet during the spinning.
A little heat was applied during spinning to begin cell development but mostly it was left til the end of the creative process. I always stop and look at how things are developing for a few seconds to see if I'm happy with the direction it's going and assess whether I need to apply more heat.
