The draconic hunger module does fully fill saturation, but can not consume food from cullinary construct and some food from farmers delight, golden carrots work well to fill it up
activating the elytra (even on accident) and flying into a wall or block, even 1 high, will damage you even if you've been 'flying' for less than a second EDIT oh yeah the upgraded food module will fill your bar, could always try melting the orbs in a magma crucible from thermal maybe
High tier crafting usually combines many low tier items, which in the beginning is put in low tier and therefore slow crafters. It therefore makes sense to stop using the low tier crafters and instead use the netherite crafter for common items. I tend to upgrade my crafters instead of just adding so I got all in highest speed therefore
Dire, I like Draconic. Thats an awesome mod and nice job using different mods. That mob grinding utility mod was pretty cool. Potions suck, period. No matter the mod or vanilla, they suck. Keep the videos coming brother, love watching them
Okay, @direwolf20 I did some spelunking and what it looks like the shotgun enchant does is increases damage and critical hit status the closer you are to an enemy, so just like a shotgun, point blank range does a hell of a lot more damage than it does from a distance. That being said, I am uncertain if it decreases damage at a distance in exchange for the heavier damage at close range or not, but I figured I'd let you know what information I found out.
Maybe unenchant the armors and weapons from the mob farm and use the experience to help combine the enchantment to the highest level instead of completely relying on the enchantment factory? Probably also don't automate it since you don't always need to enchant things. Just my opinion, Dire. Nice progress on the series!
Dire, you keep taking damage from using the elytra and slamming into blocks. It's a vanilla mechanic that makes sure you have to stop when you meet an obstacle.
Did some looking, and oh yay Mini Utilities is a beta-version mod with next to no documentation, everyone's absolute favorite thing to deal with; good god I can't stand java coders at times, it should be considered basic human decency to provide documentation. I did however find an explanation from someone who went through the code itself; src\main\java\onelemonyboi\miniutilities\mixin\BowMixin.java around line 19. It's apparently it's a damage increase and sets the critical hit status, the closer you are to the target and the higher the level, the better the effect. It basically gives your bow shotgun stats, higher damage, higher crit, and better at shorter ranges; essentially a vanilla-friendly shotgun so that you don't need a gun mod to have a weapon with those kinds of stats. If there's a modded enchantment that adds multishot for bows in this modpack, that'd make for one potentially powerful weapon, considering close range multishot will have multiple hits on a singular target. Shotgun, power, speed, infinity, and multishot would be insane; though I'm curious what other bow mods there are in this modpack.
PSA you can sneak+right click on blocks with patchouli books to go to the page on that block. No need to search in the index for a machine you've got right next to you 😉
I’m not sure I agree about them being my friend. They do hold liquids well but it seems like they auto void anything over capacity which is not what I want from a drum. I was looking for my lava pump in the nether to backlog and the drum just kept voiding the excess so now I have a bit of a mess.
When looking at the source code, it does seem Dire's assumption was right: it seems it's supposed to spawn an extra arrow entity for each level of the enchant. Looks like it's not working though...
We demand automated enchanting! After all these big complicated automation projects, as cool as they are, a simple satisfying one would be a great way to round things out.
They fixed that bug a long time ago Dire. You no longer need a arrow for infinity to work. It's a none moded Minecraft bug that was fixed, a few versions ago.
