While the sad news of the Manta Mayor was almost a year ago, the new President has done an incredible job recently turning things around, and now enjoys over an 80% approval rating! Thankfully we do not have to worry about all of the regular violence that is sadly happening back in the US with regular mass shootings, school shootings, mall shootings, road rage, even the shooting at the Super Bowl parade:( The main thing that we have seen here is mainly some bad guy going after a bad guy, but the general public is rarely involved. We always invite people to come visit the area, chat with the locals and expat residents, and get a true sense of what life is like here. And yes cash is still king and the most regular property deal, but there are some financing options if someone needs some choices.
