The insecurity in ecuador is too 🔥🔥 a lot of crime , kidnapping drugs especially in tha area manta, is beautiful but thas the only thing some other way manta is the best
The only issues in Manta have been bad guy vs bad guy and people unfortunately in those groups. The general public and especially foreigners have been fine. All of our friends and clients still walk the streets and beaches without worry. Meanwhile back in the US, there is daily violence, mass shootings, road rage etc towards the general public. In the most recent list of the most dangerous cities in the world, the US had 13 cities on the list, that means that over 20% of the most dangerous cities in the world are located in the US. most if not all of these towers have a generator. we stayed at a much older one for a month two years ago and when the power went out, it flickered for a second and the generator kicked in - no real interruption.
The past power outages were due to the El Nino weather phenomenon we had this past year, but now everything is back to normal. That being said, this building and all of the newer buildings all have full generators that turn on instantly in the event of power loss, so all good:) Any other questions feel free to ask! Unfortunately not, and worse yet, the initial multiple so called specialists we met with in the US were worthless as well. Finding Dr. Henderson was the absolute best thing! But I would say that Costa Rica is overpriced, the beachfront of the US is overpriced, Toronto is overpriced and others lol Manta Ecuador is still a great opportunity to find less expensive beachfront real estate, and with big savings on property taxes etc! As a foreigner it is difficult, and with interest rates around 12% most of our clients don't want to do that. You may however get into a new condo project with 0% interest through the term of construction so that is what some of our clients do. We also have other clients who have done a personal loan with their bank back in North America and then use those funds to purchase here. US bank will traditionally not loan on foreign properties, so you will most likely need other collateral for your bank. All that and no bathtub or jacuzzi tub in the Master?! Why?! 🙄. It's so expensive for not even having a luxurious Master bath.. it's small and zero view from a luxurious bathtub.. honestly don't get it.. However, those glass balconies that have gone in this past week are looking mighty slick... They look so beautiful with that hint of turquoise green glass..I live half a block from there right next door to the Lanzarote.. even though it's super messy (construction! 😜) it's fun to watch all of these projects come up like this. 😊😊😊

The HOA is less than $90 per month and allows you to live in one of the best oceanfront neighborhoods in the region, and with a ton of amenities like multiple pools, full gym, tennis, soccer, putting green and more. Can you imagine what that would cost for a similar neighborhood back home, and what the property taxes might be?lol But, if you are not wanting the HOA due to other "rules" then I can definitely understand, and let you know that we do have other properties that are not within an HOA, and we'd be happy to show them! HOAs are Dreadful and overrated. HOAs Can Kiss my arse. And i never buy a House with HOAs , Period. That $90 a month is $1,080 a year . I dont need those amenities i can live without them, If i want to have a Gym membership it would be under my choice only, in 4 years the fees will be over $5000 dollars a year. It always happens in every new builds. Starts Low to draw people in.
@@daidavies6210 If you do a little research, the HOA fees are a huge difference than the ones in the U.S? In Manta they are much lower and the increases are a lot less on a yearly basis.
@@user-xj4ij1jn9j HOAs are HOAs …. End of, they control what you can and can not do with your Property…. As a Landlord with 213 Properties and 27 Commercial Properties we will not deal with them . This New Home builds have reasonable price homes and i would buy 10 of them as rentals for local Families to rent long term . But not with HOAs involved.
I don't think I have ever heard of a break-in in this neighborhood, nor have any of our clients/friends ever told me about anything in any of their properties in over 10yrs. We have been involved in Ecuador for 15yrs and living here for over a decade with no issues. Meanwhile, back in the US, you have a guy stab 3 innocent people in a movie theater and then more at a McDonald's recently for no reason, mass shootings daily, 20 more people shot in a mass shooting this past holiday weekend, violent road rage instances daily, school shootings, mall shootings, home invasions, etc. etc. all in the US and becoming more and more prevalent unfortunately.
