First time I've ever heard old OAA and it's very enjoyable. Surprising how straight forward and normal it is compared to their recent stuff which is has a million signature and tempo changes.
Easily come in second to my favorite band. Love these guys. The tempo changes, the clean guitars in breakdowns, just wow. All around one of the best bands out here
a lot of artist of hardcore, metalcore, ''core'' give a fealing of the pain, sadness and other feeling and it is what i love that music style... a compassion and comprehension!!
Oceans Ate Alaska classifies themselves as a Post-Hardcore band; rightfully so since they have high highs, deep growls, high pitched singing, and consistent open notes throughout their songs even when its not a breakdown.
its all about the raw emotion thrown out for others to grasp, and to be honest thats why most people are afraid to give it a try, they hear the anger and sadness and all the emotion thrown into the music and they avoid the truth by writing it off as "noise"

This is amazing. Great guitar, awesome bass, out of this world drums, and awesome vocals! This band is music at its finest. They lay this shit down so good, they need to hit a million views already. Almost there tho!
