if we number in clockwise direction it will be 1,3- cyclohexadiene. .... smallest number according to IUPAC ?

+hemanth peeka Hello Hemanth, no it will not be 1,3 because double bond occurs after the number of carbon that you have chosen. Regardless of numbering the carbon clockwise or counter-clockwise, 1 and 4 will always be the number of carbons where double bond occurs at.
