It has been 3 years since OCKA went to the tracks around Warburton and especially our old friend, Ellis Track.
We added a few more 40's to the mix this time, 'the fridge' a dual cab running a turbo'd 1HZ engine, the 45/80 a 45 ute body on an 80 series chassis, a few more utes 2H powered 47's 2F powered 45's and a 12HT powered 47.
Plan was to head up Ellis Track but we didn't get far until one of the group broke the uni joint and another rolled their car as the transfer case might have gone into neutral and the 42 slid down the hill backwards and rolled over. A quick check for oil in the cylinders and then the mighty 3B fired up straight away.
We then headed over the backside of Warburton and that was pretty flat so headed back to the top of Ellis and went down the track. Took 2 hours to go down the 5k's due to rocks and off camber gutted tracks but it was fun.
