Okay, but now I need you to lose one of the sticks and hit only one pad at a time completely out of rhythm and only about once every five or six seconds. I need to hear what it's gonna sound like when IIIII play it.
Can the extra cymbals and pads be assigned to extra sounds on the kit, or they just extensions of a sound that can still just be played on a pad? i can't tell with this demo, and the way he words it, it sounds like the extra pads are just extensions, and not extra sounds outside of the eight pads. id like to get this with some pads as a mini kit, but if the pads are only extensions, id rather get the td 4kp.
I have an important couple of questions - Do the hi hat sounds respond to a variable hi hat controller, or does it only handle the switch type pedal (open or closed). Also do the 4 trigger inputs support single or double zone pads?
What kind of synthesis parameters can I play with? Can I take a raw synth or 808 sample for example and mess it up to be unrecognisable with FX when playing?
Hey!! I own a Octapad SPD-30. I want to add triggers like which Craig has added in this video. Can I use PD-8 as Snare pad , Cymbal Pad and Hi-Hat combined with FD-8 Hi Hat Controller?
What kind of Bass trigger pad and also which hi-hats is Craig playing with, I would like the same set up if possible, I'm not a fan of the VH-12 Hi-Hats so much I noticed he had a single Cymbal for the hi-hat
When you get the extra cymbals and pedals does that on to the amount of sounds you can now have like. Using all for plugs in now i have 12 sounds all together or just to simulate a real drum set?
I just bought the SPD 30 and I cannot find a way to load the phrase loops i recorded on my usb. What is the point of saving loops to usb if you can't load them to spd 30 for use later. internal memory can only save 50 phrases. Anyone know a workaround this?
yes. Each pad has adjustable trigger threshold, sensitivity and velocity curve. The HPD20 is even more sensitive and designed specifically for hand players.
why whole u spend 700 on a midi controler?? i hope thats not ur primary use because there are cheaper alternatives. this is a nice prodect tho and midi would be a plus
the SPD-SX and TM-2 are the alternatives for loading your own WAV samples and there's the HPD20 which is designed to be played by hand with sample load capabilities too.
