Great video. Really useful as I'm starting to make up a pedal board. I've been watching your DIY videos as I'm building my own at the moment. I liked your white falcon ones as I too love the gretsch white falcon but will never be able to get it. Hek I would love to be able to afford the dig kit you showed. Great videos keep em up.

Nice to see these more affordable pedals coming out with decent sound and tone. I’m currently running the micro pog and an old school DOD stereo chorus and love them both. Though not modulating the dry signal sounds interesting.

Can I say: thank you for using riffs/playstyle that fit the style of pedals instead of just a couple strings where you can't hear the full effect and also for pairing the octave pedal with distortion /fuzz as that has been my plan all along just couldn't afford the POG yet! Addition of bass great idea too to hear how versatile the pedal is 👍🤘

This seems like a cool pedal. I have a pog and pitchfork. Similar ,but different. Great vid as always. Silly suggestion ,but it would be cool to see using the octave to do a simultaneous guitar/bass thing. chords ,harmonies. a lot of possibilites.

Found this pedal at a bargain bin shop for 2 bucks. (To answer the impending question, the place sells amazon returns, ((idk where they get them)) at a discount. The items are strewn into walled tables, and no matter the item you pay a set amount per each one. Sundays items are $7 apiece, monday $5, tues 4, wed 2, thu 50 cents, and fri and sat are for restocking.)

Right now these Joyo pedals are climbing higher on my list. I’d say favorites are line6, strymon, and fulltone, but they aren’t budget friendly and I don’t consider them a good value for how much you pay. So for best value I’d say Joyo and mooer, and for cheapest I’d say Ammoon and rowin.

Hey Dan! Loved the video! It's great to see all the products but I kinda miss all the build and hacks style videos. I'm not saying you're selling out, because it still feels like you're giving your own opinion 100% of the time, but I kinda miss the videos in which you explain shielding or wiring. Do you still have plans to shim the neck on the ES-style bass? If so, maybe you could make a video on how to remove a set neck. Also love the editing! Might get a little distracting at times but I really love it!

Would you say this is preferable over the Ammoon OCTA $67 AUD even when considering price? Keep in mind that I'm only interested in the octave effect itself and couldn't give a damn about modulation. Does the Ammoon OCTA not work well with distortion? Or even the ENO EX OCT-1, $35 Mooer Pure Octave, $59 Tomsline/Rowin/Aroma Octpus $45 to 49.50 Does anyone have any insight on these? (Prices from AliExpress)

Hey Dan! I just wanted to know what you think of multi-effects pedals such as the boss me-80. I'm not a huge pedal user so is it better to buy just this one pedal or buy the one or two I would use?

I don’t love multi effects, to difficult to use on the fly, I much prefer individual pedals that you can tweak in the moment easier

Try working some alternate picking into your guitar playing! Its gonna be a super hard habit to build but once you've practiced it enough, alternate picking makes everything soooo much easier

How does this compare to the Ammoon octaver? I have the Ammoon but it doesn't completely function as it should, sometimes it clashes with certain notes I play and it doesn't sound great. Thinking about getting this one, not sure though.

So its a joyo Sub N Up without toneprint.. Sounds cool. Fuzz works great with it for bass and guitar.. But litterally i run tone print like this pedal but with a tri chorus and have the ability to turn my dry knob the opposite direction and remove it.. Also i use my sub 2 to add drive to up or sub one.
