What a lovely giveaway. My favorite bird is the California Scrub Jay. God gifted a little scrub jay when I was doing chemo in 2020. I could feed this wild bird peanuts from my hand and I could call him, like a dog. I believe God used him to encourage me, as I was by myself for my mastectomy and chemo because of COVID. He passed 2 years ago and I miss him so.
