Hello from the UK, I have been watching your videos for some time now but tend not to comment as I watch RU-vid on the TV and not the laptop but I just had to comment on your wonderful garden I love everything about it I really enjoyed the tour you gave us!! Oh my what a lovely garden. I used to have a garden and l know how much work it requires and it’s a never ending job maintaining it. Good on you you’re doing a great job. I enjoyed the walk through and thank you for sharing.

😂 oh my gosh you will be so busy!!! I loved making the Jenna shirt, I went down a size but in hind sight I'd stick to my actual size next time I make it to make sure it is truly oversized rather then just a bit loose. Your garden is amazing, I wish I was that clever. Our new garden is quite full and actually I am enjoying moving things around to make it more me and I do have lots of plans. See you again soon 🙋‍♀️.

Hi Catherine. I'm definitely not going to get them all done. Thanks so much for your advice on the Jenna Shirt. I think you could make a beautiful garden. I planned mine out first and then researched which trees were suitable for my small yard. I did have a vision but it definitely has evolved. Thanks so much for dropping by. Have have a great week ❤

Hi Katrina, I loved the tour of your garden...it's amazing! I have numerous salvia bushes...they are easy to ID as they have square stems. I envy you those steel balls...they're fantastic! Hoping you get all your sewing plans completed...maybe there needs to be more than 31 days this month 😆

Yes I do tend to overextended myself 😄. I'll be lucky to get the Frocktails items made. I do have other salvias out the front but I had never noticed the square stems. Thank you so much for watching. I hope you have a lovely weekend ❤

Your garden is lovely. I'm always amazed how fast the plants come to life in Australia in the spring. It takes about two months to look like that here in Canada. I just want to come over and sit in your garden. It's so pretty.

I'd love to have you over for a coffee. We've had some unseasonably warm weather before spring really arrived so everything came alive much sooner than usual. Do you get snow in winter? It is lovely at the moment. I wish you could smell the garden. It's amazing. Have a lovely weekend ❤

@create_something_pretty right now, the roses are still blooming, and also some of the autumn flowers like chrysanthemum, but our growing season has come to an end pretty well. We have had to cover the more tender vegetables the last few nights because of frost. We get snow for about 4 months of the year, and really we can get snow from the end of October to the end of March. Lately though, it has just been cold, and we only really get snow from December to February. That has been the last 25 years. Before that, we had it a lot longer and a lot more accumulation. One year we had snow to the top of the lower barn roofs and I shedded off the barn roof. I was a teenager then though, and much more daring. Lol. Sometimes though, my son had to wear his snow suit over his Halloween costume trick or treating though because we were having a snowstorm, which took some of the fun out of it. I actually live in one of the mildest parts of Canada though, in southwestern Ontario. They have a lot more snow pretty well everywhere else.

@sew_So_beautiful Oh wow. I could never imagine that. We have to drive over an hour away and only in the right conditions to find snow. No protecting my plants. We do get frosts but nothing like what you get. Our Summers though get really hot. It's not hot to us until high 20°c or well over 30°c. It's quite normal to hit 42°c but anything over 47°c is scary and a lot more common. We are the cooler state too😳.

@@create_something_pretty People here wouldn't be able to stand that heat. Anything over 26°c is awful for most people. It doesn't bother me until it gets over 30° though. And even then it's not horrible, just sweaty. I don't like it over 34° though. We don't have air conditioning like most do, so I think it's easier to tolerate the heat than when you come out of ice cold air conditioning.

Hi Katrina, your garden looks wonderful, everything is starting to flower now, it’s a great time of the year. Your sewing plans are coming along, I need a few new t shirts too, that Protea tops also looks great I will have to get that pattern, and also get on with my outfit for Frocktails. Hi Katrina. What about a Donny Shirt out of the Miss Moresby sateen? I currently have the mid-length Blair Skirt cut out in a fine cord fabric. I am doing the pockets. Thanks for the tee inspiration as I really need to make some of those. Can't wait to see your finished Frocktails outfit!❤

I like the sound of your Blair Skirt. I think the miss Moresby fabric needs to be a shirt like item. I'm really unsure about it. Maybe I need to play with sateen a bit first. Thank you so much for your suggestions. Thanks for watching ❤

You have a lot of lovely makes planned .I am looking forward to seeing them . Your garden looks great . Do you have any trouble with possums eating your plants ? My garden has suffered terribly the last few years from the horrible possums. They have eaten all my carpet roses and I have lovely deciduous dog wood tree that they eat the new leaves as soon as it shots in spring .

Yes I do. The tops of my climbing Pierre DeRonsard rose is all munched up on the top of my arbour. So annoying. I had this holographic tape tied to the top to scare them but it actually annoyed me too🙄. It did work OK for a while. Thank you so much for watching ❤

Loving colours, I’m looking forward to seeing them sewn up. Although I’m also wondering about the Cotton Sateen in the cami as it won’t drape like a rayon etc, but it depends on what you are hoping it to look like.

😆😆. I am one of those people who always needs to be busy. I don't go out much, I love being home and occasionally doing something fun or coffee. I am also currently a stay at home Mum which is probably why I can fit it all in. When I go back to work, hopefully soon, I'm sure a lot will change. I am also a country girl. You keep going till the job is done. None of this knocking off at 3 business like my hubby does😆. I hope that answers your question 😊😊
