Thats where I’ve seen that bottle! The shampoo section! 😆 Hilarious. I passed on buying one, seen the whole 13.1, .2 and .3 for sale but just couldn’t pull the trigger that’s a bit of scratch for me. Especially when there’s nice dustys in my area, just grabbed a 2017 glendronach 18 and a Macallan Fine Oak 17 both around the $200 range I’m happier with those for now I think 🙂 Nice review, nice cat, cheers 🥃

really nice review, I'm agreed on all points. one thing I'd like to add is that the sherry component really shines for me mid-palate in a huge way. entry is a very good, expected octomore experience, but this veeery clean and elegant sherry note rises up and then follows through the finish. must have been some very nice sherry casks they used to vat these. bright with fresh red berries. yeah, if you like both octomore and sherry then this is buy. also I found after the bottle had been open for a couple days that I found a brine note that I didn't during my first drams. Cheers!

Watch you video back and count up how many 'flavours' you mentioned. Don't fall in the trap of believing you have to keep mentioning more and more things. I work at a Scottish distillery so I have the experience to say this.
