Go for the quest - vive is a niche and is costly and require a hell lot of setup and also is not standalone, you need a powerfull PC for it- you will gain more user base in Oculus as it has sold roughly 20million last year - also it works on Linux kernel - their version of android and it support a lot of android apps as well and its standalone and cost only 33K india (OG cost is 20K per US but customs and tax included it goes to 33K in India)

kinda - but they are not that refined - you can use PCVR with Oculus then you can enjoy it - I play Forza with steering wheel and Oculus VR it works great and marvelous experience

You can charge with any phone adapter or laptop or any power bank. Even the US model adapter can be used in India. If you look at the specs, you’ll see that the input power can be between 100-240 Volts AC.

Try cancelling and downloading again, check your internet connection or data limit if there is any. Or try downloading on computer and copy it to the VR headset using the charging cable. You need to enable developer mode on your headset as well to copy media or apps from computer to the VR.

Converter is not at all required. If you look at the charging adapter, it says it supports input voltage between 100 - 240Volts AC
