You can also use an Apple TV to mirror the iPhone/iPad and "cast" the gameplay on your TV. I figured that out after buying a Chromecast, which is pretty much useless for me now.

Why does nobody realize that they use removable batteries on purpose? They don't want you to run out of battery and end gameplay until it charges. I have had that happen with the PS4 several times. EDIT: this was not intended to attack the video creator! Sorry! The idea is less interruption to gameplay.

eventually someone will make a battery that has external contacts through the plate like some that exist for the xbox controllers. Just set the controller in the dock to charge.

I agree with your initial assessment and do not see how it is an attack at all. I purposely have not moved to rechargeable batteries. Instead, I use Energizer Lithium batteries. I have been using a fresh pair for a couple of weeks and they are still close to 100%.

UGH, I TOTALLY AGREE! No one realizes how genius it is! Having a set or two of extra batteries always charged means that you never run out of power, and it's AWESOME.

@@owenbock5883 still pointless, the quick ability to swap batteries is more important for most people even if they don't realize it, smart people would definitely prefer some eneloops to quick swap.

i personally love removable batteries for a very different reason which is if your battery ever gives out then you don't have to either get a new controller or pull it apart to replace the battery. this always bothered me about playstation controllers.

I already have a VR headset (Lenovo Explorer) but the features the Oculus Quest gives are just amazing! VR on the go, hand tracking! and you can connect it to the pc.

If you get a light that is to high strength and you expose your eyes to it a lot it will cause permanent eye damage because just because you can't see the ir light so you don't know how bright it is and it will cause permanent eye damage after prolonged exposure.

clyde Smithers although it’s an interesting point your going to have a headset covering your eyes so technically your eyes won’t be hurt at all unless you keep it on when ur not playing which isn’t smart to begin with but I do need this cause my oculus never seems to track well at all I play in a decent light space and still shit so this is a necessity at this point no point in using the headset if I can’t even play one title

Any idea where to get decals similiar to what you have? I just want spider man eyes or venom eyes and I cant get either without getting a whole decal, and I just want eyes! That decal etsy shop your recommending has been on vacation for months.

Great video. I need to get one of them magsafes! And a decal, too. Also I regret buying the official Oculus case. The strap is positioned at a really weird angle, I would've preferred something like what you showed here.

Question, 1. for the earbuds, does the oculest have a build in mic or do I need to get something for that 2. Would the ir illuminator damage the camera over time, like aka for example they say not to take the headset outside or something, maybe the light directly would damage it, I'm wondering if I'm being stupid or something by thinking this, ;-; just ned to know just in case

Do you know if the magsafe cable supports oculus link and if not is there a cable that is magsafe and also works with oculus link, i think that the magnet attachments may not be ablt to transfer that high amount of data soo..

HotshotTek You scored yourself a subscriber with the previous video (newest video at the moment [thumbnail contains the words "worth it"]) I watched and a notification bell with this one. I ordered a couple IR flashlights (3W each) that run on AA batteries. Hopefully they work okay for using my headset in the dark (I'll try to remember to add a comment here after I get them in ~2 days). I'm a Software developer that lives outside at the moment or I'd use something with a wall adapter.

Tip if you want to broadcast the oculus screen on a tv but you don’t have a chrome cast you can use a Apple TV just go on the oculus app on your phone look at the VR screen on the app then air play to the tv

Can you go on the oculus app but instead of the chrome cast use your Apple TV to cast what’s being shown on your phone onto the tv It would be slightly delayed because it’s the oculus app tho
