Odd Primers for Oily Skin 

It's not coochie cream. It's chaffing cream. It goes on your thighs or arm flaps or to prevent chaffing.

FYI, I did some research and found out that the Monistat gel is *exactly* the same stuff as the Maybelline Baby Skin primer, but much cheaper for a larger amount of product. Great video, thanks!

I have really oily skin and tried everything, nothing worked! I had an old bottle of Calomine lotion and thought, "hmmmm, I wonder" turned out, it's the besssssst primer for oily skin! And it's great for the skin as well!

I have EXTREMELY oily skin and nothing worked for me except the MOM (original formula) , but it would my skin look patchy after I applied it my makeup without rubbing the dried MOM off with my moisturizer (still works btw) , so what's works best (for me) is applying the MOM , letting it dry then applying the Monistat (didn't want to waste my moisturizer anymore and monistat alone didn't work for me either )

MOM you can't use the generic and it has to be the original...... The "flavor" added ingredient changes the formula, please try it again. I use MoM and then add the chafing cream for the smoothness. Just a tip, very pretty btw

Milk of mag should be watered down, and it's just magnesium which soaks in through your skin, and has amazing health benefits. I have used it as a roll on deodorant for years, and I add tea tree, or lavender. Works perfect!

Try a thin layer of hemorrhoid cream. It minimizes pores and absorbs oil for oily skin with or without makeup

calamine lotion is amazing for oily skin as a primer and it's healthy for your skin and helps your acne

the mom is the only thing that keeps me matte for 11hr in a work day. but, id suggest the original.

first time hearing someone not like MOM. is the monistat really for your vagina? ok that might sound dumb but i thought it was for the inner thigh area which chafes when they rub together

the nivea aftershave balm you should use a pea size if you use too much its going to make you greasy . try again using just a lil abit

ive never heard of aloe for a primer. It IS good for moisturizing though, especially oily skin. I love it! I mix with a few drops of oil (of your choice, I love loreal extraordinary oil) and moisturize day and night. natural is best! try aloe for moisture and youll see a difference!

Mannn I would break out in a heartbeat,I have sensitive skin so I know for a fact my face would react so I have to pass on these suggestions😩, but Hopefully others find this very informative & useful. 🙂

Great vid! Personally, I like the milk of magnesia, it works and a little goes a long way. I pat mine into my skin until it's translucent, otherwise it'll dry white and give you that pulling and tugging feeling on your skin. I also like the chafing gel, the consistency reminds me of the smashbox primer, however it doesn't hold up on my nose which I get the most oily. If u have normal/oily combo skin the chafing gel will work great!

Agree, the Nivea made me a greaseball. The milk of magnesia felt great at first but then I noticed it kind of making my face look chalky throughout the day. Can't wait to try the coochie cream! lol

When you use the milk of magnesia, you're supposed to wait for it to dry into a chalky white mask, and then dab the chaffing powder gel on top and rub it all in your skin. They work together. The powder gel gets rid of all the white residue from the milk of magnesia, but you still get the matte effect from the milk of magnesia.

My skin is weird, my body period lol, and I can't use a product for long periods of time. My high end brand primer has quit on me!! The Becca ever matte primer was bay. Unfortunately, it doesn't work anymore and I'm a grease ball again. One of the employees at Walgreens recommended the No. 7 primer...I'll try it out to see. For the aloe vera gel, besides the dry feeling did it reduce your oiliness?

You have the wrong TYPE of milk of magnesia!! You have the cherry flavor!! No-no!!! You're supposed to have the ORIGINAL PLAIN version is. No flavor!! It works great on the T zone but don't put it on wrinkles.

Try calamine lotion....it's made for skin and it's supposed to be drying. I'm oily and it works wonders. good luck

for some reason the monistat gel doesn't work for me. I still get oily and my makeup comes off and at the end of the day my makeup looks cakey.i bought the one you have and maybe it's the way I'm applying it? idk. how do you apply it.

You also can't judge the aloe vera either, because you used one that is full of fillers and chemicals. When they tell you use aloe as a primer, you have to find one that is as close to pure (right off the leaf) gel as possible. Amazon carries two.

CAN SOME ONE HELP ME PLS😂? So I have kinda dry skin like I have dry patches on my cheeks and the rest of my face is sometimes flakey so I have dry skin but I sweat ALOT so my face gets oily so I do have oily skin but I need a matte foundation that won't stick to my dry patches. And I have a lot of redness on my face so I have a pink undertone and I'm pale. Does anyone know what foundation I can use?

This was a very honest and revealing video to me! I have used the Monistat cream when I was oily it worked great. But now I do use the Nivea and it works fantastic for me but my skin is now dry. PS the dude sent evaporates very quickly. I know because I asked my husband to check that part of it because that was the only turnoff for me. I will never spend a lot on a primer again either.

Milk of Magnesia is terrible for the skin. I used to use it too cause it's the only thing that worked for me but it has an extremely basic pH which will ruin your skin's acid mantle and with time will destroy your complexion..

You should never use milk of magnesia on your skin, the long-term effects can really damage your skin permanently! There's a few videos on RU-vid about it.

i don't know why people keep saying the nivea after shave balm is for oily skin...Anything that has a lot of glycerin in is best for dry skin which Nikkie has (combo dry) based on the products and moisturizers she uses.

I have really oily skin and I use the Nivea aftershave balm and Cocoa butter stretch mark cream together and it gives me the perfect primer.

I can tell you that they use milk of magnesia in movie makeup. For what? That I actually can't really remember

Aloe Vera definitely works! I use it on hot days in Atlanta. But its best to use it with a traditional primer.

I went out and purchased the chafing gel. It worked perfectly!! my makeup stayed on and no shiny oil on my face all night! Great tip!

I have extremely oily skin & I tried out milk of magnesia & the chaffing cream. The cream worked for 1hr & milk of magnesia worked for 2hrs. That's just my experience & so far I'm so annoyed with my skin 😩😭

The milk of magnesia is supposed to be used as a daily mask, worn for 10 minutes or so. Then washed off.
