ODD TAXI ENDING EXPLAINED 

The funny thing about the cat revelation in Odakawa's apartment is that is was blantantely revealed in the show's intro.

I knew she was the killer the moment she said she was 4th place.

This anime is insane. Might be one of the best animes of all time

I think that Odokawa told the police about sakura and is working together with the police to capture her because when he was in the hospital bed he said he had one more thing he needed to say to the police (which we never find out what it was) so my guess is that he is working together with the police to capture her. We also see sakura commenting on how she just recently met Odakawa by coincidence and got the perfect chance to take care of any loose ends, but I don't think she just got lucky and coincidentally found Odokawa offscreen, I think he and the police were specifically trying to bait her (maybe they will try getting a confession or something like that)

ODD TAXI IS DAMN MASTERPIECE!!! but to me Odokawa is still Cute Walrus :) I always will recall him as the walrus because well, I love walruses maybe too much but i do :)

The only thing I would have liked to see to make it absolutely perfect would have been Odokawa pressing the Taxi SOS button just before they faded to black.

the audio dramas are so good too. they give us more inside informations and reveal more secrets hope more people will know about it :>

Kazuya Konomoto hasn't written for any other anime, but I highly recommend checking out the manga he wrote, Seto Utsumi. If you enjoy the dialogue of Odd Taxi and well-made endings, Seto Utsumi delivers both of those in spades.

This anime is crazy underrated, it's soo good and elegant

Odakawa is safe because of the hospital scene there is a hint that he actually found who the murderer is

When odokawa told "they told me i look like walrus" i was like wtf dude "u dont but u r actually a walrus". Fck this anime author played me well..😌😌

Sakura didn't plant the bug and lure tanaka....they were not related and also didn't knew eachother. Tanaka planted the bug by Breaking his window in the taxi and sakura planted the phone so that she can later find odokawa to kill him...

Best thing about this anime is that it made us forget that there was a killer still on lose

considering the kind of guy odokawa is, I wouldn't worry about him being in a taxi with a psycho-killer. if he can take on the yakuza, corrupt police officers, mentally broken man who went crazy because of a gacha game, and a very bad childhood, he's gonna do just fine.

the title gives off like it explained everything but what did you explained???... you just used some heavy words to sound like you telling something deep but just read re recorded script for the final episode from first to end and then read out some random guy reddit post

I did not know that there was a channel with that fear, the explanation was excellent to the extent that I might watch the anime again

I feel Sakura was too overconfident. She gets lucky killing someone ONCE and so she thinks she can surely kill a guy who’s more than twice her size? Sure maybe he’ll get a few cuts and bruises. But dead? I don’t think so. It’s like a little cat trying to take down a full grown walrus. Literally!

Although if Sakura did work together with Tanaka (which I believe she did based on the phone scene), that means she has another loose end to tie besides Odokawa

Could someone help me out? Are we supposed to know Sakura's motivation for killing Mitsuya Yuki? It was to assure her fame and acceptance into Mystery Kiss, right?

Odakawa was definitely neurodivergent coded. Which is great cause you dont get to see many adult neurodivergent characters: usually only children and young adults

I loved this anime it was incredibly fun to get to know each character and what they were up to . If you truly want to know what happened to Odakwa at the very end watch the closing credits closely there is a clue there that will give you the answer. :) just like there are clues in the opening credits to the anime itself.

Artificial and unconvincing. 6.5/10 The drawing, music, voice acting is what holds this show up for me. The ending is nice but i'm not convinced with how interconnected the characters are, with Odakawa's inconsistent behaviour, and his super power that's sometimes there and sometimes not for seemingly no reason.

How can we possibly imagine what happens after the final scene? It’s completely up in the air and unresolved. Which means it isn’t an actual ending. A horrible failure for an otherwise excellent show. An ending should be an ending. You can’t just let the bad guy (girl in this case) win with no consequences and expect the audience to like it.
