Odell was playing with a chip on his shoulder this past season and that is exactly how the game of football should be played. Well it wasn't me that said 'The next Jerry Rice'. It was HOF Harry Carson on TV. Of course he still has a lot to prove after one year, but I can assure you that this dude is going to be in the Hall as long as he stays relatively healthy and plays with a decent QB. His athleticism is 9/10, his hands are 10/10, his attitude is 9.5/ 10, his route running is 10/10 and his football intelligence is also atleast 8/10. Teams were using double and triple coverage on him after he became famous with that Dallas game and he still ranked up the 100 yd games. He even outplayed Sherman in the first half of that Giants-Seahawks game until Eli and the O-Line decided to stink again. I think the combination of skills and attributes this guy posseses hasn't been seen in the NFL since Jerry and probably Randy. I seriously belive that he's better than a Dez Bryant or a Calvin Johnson or a Larry F or Julian Edelman or whoever else.

JusLsn You can't really compare their first seasons when they're 20 years apart...The league has gravitated towards passing so much more than it was back then so it's hard to compare. Both great receivers I think Odell just gets more attention because he's flashy and makes flashy catches.
