On every attempt to Norman's side, Odell had him beat. Eli just couldn't make the passes and failed to see him on the plays he was open. From these highlights, Odell clearly beat Josh Norman.
This is what makes watching the NFL so much fun. This is why so many people tuned into seeing this game in particular. The rivalry between Norman & OBJ is so intense that it's like, you have to watch to see who outdoes who. I love the rivalry battles because the game's so much more exciting. It's more than just getting the TD or preventing the TD.
Bobby that's because he hasn't been in the league long, which is why he is not one of the best. julio and green beat him in ever stat the past 2 years. Brown would have as well if he had a healthy Ben. obj is top five but not top 3 in my opinion.
Dude I don’t think people understand corner is the hardest position in the game.Especially at that level. The wide receivers are the fastest guys on the team knowing exactly what route they run, meanwhile they also catch anything thrown at them. NFL corners deserve respect if they can make 4 plays a game lol

the reason he has safety help was to get physical with OBJ. He got 'beat' mostly because he was trying to prove that hes stronger than OBJ(which he is)

Josh is always on the better team. But he can't fucking guard OBJ. I like them both. But being fair,straight up Odell is just purely better than him,period.

Hell of a matchup. This ain't Madden. Norman's entire job against OBJ was to contain. To jam one of the best receivers at the line and not get beat by any route is almost impossible. Your job is to keep your man from going crazy throughout the game and especially out the end zone. Norman did a good job this game. Anything better would have been great.
Everyone calling Odell a baby has never been passionate about a sport I cried after finals losses in wrestling tournaments multiple times and it wasn't even nationals or even states but when you work hard and know what you're capable and fall short or in this case have the opportunity ripped away because of another's mistake it's frustrating. But you know what more often than not after those tears I beat that opponent next time I saw him. That's why the expression I put my blood, sweat and tears into this is literal and those that do tend to succeed. And plus if you watch all the catches after he punched the kicking net he is more focused and composed than ever he had successive first downs where earlier he would've been beating his chest but instead he got up maybe made the little first down signal handed the ball the ref and went back to the huddle. He's still young and maturing all the time, this game he was way more controlled than last year. He's already a stud athletically but give him a year or maybe a few once he's matured enough to check himself before getting out of hand there's no stopping him.

he's great when it really matters... He hit Manningham with a beautiful, indefensible over the shoulder throw in the super bowl. He also hit Tyrell in another super bowl after escaping 3 sacks. I've seen every quarterback miss that play...more than once.
Gotta love the development man, round 1 Norman locked him up so bad Odell had to move to slot, Norman just getting in his head and forcing his team to take a L up until they nearly came back. Fast Foward, Odell is now a force to be reckoned with taking iso after iso against Norman and showing him he wasnt the same youngster he was before. Odell taking shots at normam turning into Norman taking shots at Odell was such a nice development .
Norman has 120yds worth of penalties this year alone. That's more than all of his prior years in the NFL combined. Even though he had plenty of penalties, he gets away with a lot too. He holds almost every play.
please delete comments... If the Redskins played a man to man defense, then yes, OBJ would've "exposed" Norman. But they play a zone, which means Norman has a route to follow lol. He is a trailer in the Skins D. You physically cannot say OBJ exposed him if he is now 0-2 vs him with just 1 TD
