The green truck, hallow Ah, we took only back roads We drove miles of country, We saw an old barn burning Skies worn and light blue All the billboards read untrue I read them, each one We passed by the thousands Was a full sun at high noon And up rose a bright moon Casting shadows, Like dancing sparrows Sing me baby, whole, Sing me baby, whole, Run baby, run baby, run baby, run Run from the one who you know that you love Run baby, run baby, run baby, baby run Oh, we turned on the radio And listened to talk shows Till the engine slowly, drugged down into sleep The desert’s sunrise Was a feast to our eyes The dry heat and hot wind Caressing our skin We’re goin over there We built us a home here For a time, not forever Just you and I dear Sing me baby, whole, Sing me baby, whole, Run baby, run baby, run baby, run Run from the one who you know that you love Run baby, run baby, run baby, baby run
+Odessa I heard this song on a commercial I believe about a year ago and I feel like it has such magic. My guitar has been collecting dust and I'll be going out today to finally replace my G note string. I think it's very compelling music and it's not more of the same. The Irish hymn feel is hypnotic
I really like the percussive noises in the beginning. Then the vocals mesh so well together... I'm wish I could harmonize like that! It sounds great. This is the first album in a long time that I can't wait to buy!
My literacy teacher would play this song before we started class and waited for everyone to get in, I thought it was really catchy so I searched for it! I absolutely love this song. ❤️
So glad you are back and singing again, Odessa. I've looked for you from time to time ever since I heard you singing with Bearfoot at the Pagosa Springs Folk and Bluegrass Festival.
I hope I hear this on the radio some day. I love this song and I want to cover this song so badly! This is my favorite song right now!!! It's my style of music. I don't usually write comments but I'm shocked only few people know this song. This sounds like a song that you'd heat on the radio. This song deserves a lot more attention!!! I honestly thought you were a majorly popular artist who I've yet to hear. You are amazing! Keep doing this style of music!
cannot at all stop watching and listening to your music (especially this song). literally have listened to this song 4 times today and about averagely 11 times a day!! love your voice and music!! :) :) :)
Hi! I'm from Mexico, and it's really sad to discover that we are not allowed to play this video, it's my favourite song and I'd love to be able to listen to it here):
I love this song! Yes, I know, this song was most popular in 2015 and nowit's 2016, but I still loveeeee this song, and btw, more. Love you, Odessa♥! Thank you for this and other your songs! (Sorry for my terrible english writing)

A Coven.... Not to be associated with "witch" but nature. During the napping scene you will notice a five dotted tattoo. This represents the five elements of earth, wind, fire, ice and wood. Once that is understood... the video makes sense. When I first saw this a week ago it had less than 10,000 views. I have promoted this and hope everyone will do the same.
