I was had the most amazing psychedelic trip when I discovered this by a warm campfire. The song spoke to me and said 'Hey, you're starting a new job, I know you're afraid but you'll be absolutely fine. Stop doubting yourself, you're dope as fuck and you'll thrive.' Almost 2 years later I am happier than I ever been with every aspect of my life. Thank you Odesza, for helping my brain come up with that narrative for myself by that campfire with this song allowing me to live it after. Love you guys

Meridian very much reminds me of some of the Deep Forest songs. For example: Deep Folk Song + Freedom Cry, perhaps also Ekue Ekue and Bohéme. They are more into world-music though. I would also love to know more songs like this!

I wish I could capture how Odesza makes me feel. It's an experience like no other each song takes me on a unique journey. Not a lot of artists have done this for me esp those in the electronic genre but they just bang consistently in ways I would've never thought possible. Idek how to explain it lol. It's just mind blowing stuff really.
