Does look pretty cool in black with red highlights (maybe that’s because I volunteer for my local Salvation Army and I’m biased 😁.) awesome video as always.
For an even greater challenge prop from “Love and Thunder”, try making the helmet Thor wears for a short time just after being introduced to Jane Foster Thor.
I go through the same thing when making new patterns for props and the like, hoping it will fit, ripping it apart and starting again, lying to yourself that it looks fine and nobody else will notice the problems-BUT, this looks awesome, and I cannot wait for the next Mjolnir build!
I love watching your videos. I want to start making stuff like this to add to my nerdy collectibles. Would be a fun and constructive way to past the time. Plus I would be able to get a cool wall of props. In the future is there anyway you can do some transformer prime props like the star saber or dark star saber
Haven’t seen the Movie yet but the props you’ve built look so Screen Accurate. Gor’s Necrosword was well build and deadly and this Helmet is mighty and well crafted. Well Done Odin, sorry for being mia in the comments been watching Ms. Marvel trust me it’s a great series, a must watch. That helmet is probably one of your shiniest.
Could you recreate the BFG please that we'll be so awesome that and there isn't that many tutorials for the BFG that and I love your videos man great job on the helmet hope you have a wonderful day
Hey Odin, Just found your channel & I absolutely love it, I would love to see you make some of the props from the John Wick franchise such as the blood oath marker & coins etc.
Three things. First, Amazing job on the build, as always. Not suited for battle, but still cool! Second, Thor: Love and Thunder was amazing, a MUST-WATCH if you haven’t seen it. Wasn’t as good as Ragnarok, but it’s still a top tier MCU movie. And third, I am once again requesting the Star Saber from Transformers Prime. Maybe you could make the Dark Star Saber from the same show, if you feel like it. The latter would be a bit easier, but it’s your choice.
Hey Odin, I’m thinking of making a cosplay for the character Jetstream Sam. I was thinking about repurposing some old football and soccer equipment into the armor plates for it, but some things like the abdominal plate and thigh plates are very weird shaped. I don’t have experience with foam so I don’t wanna do stuff like that. Any suggestions?
I'd fake them! A lot like how we did the Gundam joints... The person is what makes the joints work. The costume has fake joints, for bits and pieces that just look like joints. The tail is trickier, if you actually wanted to have a little bit of movement and not drag on the floor... It can become a complicated balancing act with rope and bungee cord. Look at the CosGear costail for some inspiration. Just look at the way it's built... Don't run out and buy one!
@Odin when you made the crest, and was talking out how you didn't want to flatten it too much. Wouldn't have using one of the triangle piece under it to help hold the shape while gluing.
Awesome! I was hoping you'd make her helmet since I am planning on making one too... I just finished making a glowing Mjolnir... I used EL wire so it'll be interesting to see what you use.
That came out absolutely perfect! Trying to talk the wife into letting me get a battery powered belt sander. Oh boy... I learned some new techniques I can't wait to put into practice. Thank you, Odin!
